I am really, really sorry mates! It was a small query that was not meant to start another war! I answered my own query about two posts later, after figuring it out! Sorry to be the catalyst to all of this trouble!

Most categories have existed for a long time. If one is willing to look closesly, there is a great distinction between them. I've voted too and my votes for all are different.

With a non movie category like Best Political Debator

The voice for having political debator was decided by people (even if an official vote was not taken. We can't have an official vote for anything. The seperation existed mainly because the best debator cateogry was always flooded with people who vote for the political debators, not those that discuss movies themselves. Think of it as protecting the movie public itself.

why no categories for the posters ( like lots of people talked about )

- music
- literature
- sports
- etc

a) Those forums have not grown as big
b) Having counted votes, hosted and organized these things, I can tell you how difficult it is to count everything. I'm glad they were away. Let the forums grow before an introduction has happened.

Looks like a hell of a awards time coming. Looking forward to the same winners speaking over and over or a small bunch of them.

Again untrue. The host almost always gets the most amount of nominations but barely ever wins. I'm looking at the awards this year, last time and the time before, some things remain constant (cause people consistently excel in them) but quite a bit changes. I had 9 nominations or so last time, this time i have 5, 2 of which are completely new.

Lecter said theyre HIS awards and he can do what he wants. Theyre certainly not his awards and he can't do what he wants. Having said that, as host, organizer and what not, he has the liberty to make final decisions. Please also remember that its not Lecter but Lecter and Torrino. Theyre both organizing this, not one person.

There is a certain voting matter that needs attending. Give me 3 minutes, I'll have another post up.

I had informed the hosts beforehand, if problems exist, I will butt in. I'm doing so now, not because of Goldie but because of another matter. Bear with me.

A) There is something that needs to be solved. I want people to stop voting for the moment. Voting will continue in 2 days time (maybe sooner but I'll inform everyone)
