Uh? What's the news on this. i've seen and heard little about it, but I'm really taken by the title. I like tommy Lee Jones, though he can be hit or miss. I've not heard of anyone else in the cast, which could be promising. Sometimes i like not recognizing any faces. There have been rumours reaching as far back as Cannes, but not much in terms of material criticism or content explanation. I'm kind of interested in learning more about it though...

The buzz, mainly circled around Jones, kind of died down after Cannes. It'll be limitedly released the last week of December to qualify for Oscar.

9/1 is a pretty strong start. Could this gain steam late in the season?

I think it's too late for the major awards, but I think it could sneak in a few smaller nods like screenplay. It certainly does look good and everything that I've heard about the film has been golden.
