LOL um, ok. cuz you didn't write what you did. i'm not gonna argue it because I do have a sense of humor. but ask yourself, why the harsh response? did I strike the right nerve? something tells me i did. if want to reply seriously, explain to me the humor behind the following exchange in another thread somewhere. I serisouly don't want to hijack this thread with this. i hope you believe me when i say that. andaroo wrote: I am so serveing pudding and fudge at my Oscar party.

Because gay cowboys like pudding.
And white people like Perry Como.
And all black people are on crack.
You are looking for controversy so you can feel victimized like you do in EVERY fucking argument you get involved in.
You are such a drama queen.

Maybe because I find it offensive that someone would censure me for what are perfectly innocent comments? And clearly, whatever you think humour is, you're short of it. Quote: if want to reply seriously, explain to me the humor behind the following exchange in another thread somewhere. You can't explain a joke! The moment that you explain the humour, it's dead, dead and buried. This has been an unusual Awards season, so of course it's odd that all these nominees are popping up. It's funny because it's unusual. And, fyi, we are truly covering a great range here. I can't remember such a broad range of love relationships protrayed in Oscar-candidates, can you? Here's a post from Raffiki in this forum: Quote: So, it looks like this year's nominees are, for the most part, love stories!!
Walk the Line: straight love story Brokeback: gay love story King Kong: ape love story
If The New World was also nominated, that would be 4/5 Happy
How dare he find a correlation between a gay love story and one between an ape and a woman! How offensive! Let's go after him too and pummel the poor kid to the ground, so that he may never think of reasoning things out in such a way again!

It was like over an horu of squealing and calling from him to take his shirt, it was really distracting, and gross.

As well, I think the hairy men's association will be seriously offended as well. As if Santa Claus isn't enough.

Haha, knowing PETA, this site will be shut down within the hour because of all of the "ape abuse" caused by "degrading sexual comments towards apes".
They said that Lord of the Rings promoted "abuse towards horses" because of all of the war scenes where CGI horses fall and are toppled.
PEACE, Mike.

It's unfortunate Million Dollar Baby wasn't released this year. Gay gorilla from the wrong side of the tracks who strives to become a boxer=movie gold.

If you can't make fun of gay cowboys, well, then I think the terrorists have finally won.

Ahem... I'm not a kid
Anyway... I dunno what went on in the previous page but I do agree there is going to be alot of gay jokes and comments and all that needs to be said is just handle it in a somewhat tasteful and inoffensive manner.
Don't say anything, that although humorous, is seriously degrading or such. And I don't mind any of it; but a word of caution (not for me, just just in general): don't joke around or say something gays wouldn't say about themselves or joke about.
There is no need to get aggressive.

I know that after Lord of the Rings I continuously have fantasies of stepping on stallions.

It doesn't matter... I mean... if he showed up at my door and was like "Follow me... into the WILD" I would be like... okay!
