Wow. I thought that was a pretty damn good episode.

They covered all 5 housewives in all (almost) equally important plots and Edie even made a cameo (wow, she's good!)

Gabrielle's story is I guess interesting but they cut it short. I thought they'd have Carlos realize the nun did only want him and then go back to Gabby, but this would be a while later...

Susan's story was very well done as well. Awesome killing time for her; some semi-important plotline to hold us over until they figure out what to do with her!

Lynette's was okay. Well done but only okay in the ense that it didn't add anything as far as a long-term arc (or maybe it did... adding in her seeing her kids everyday)

Betty's arc is developing very slowly.... and so the guy is her son?

And Bree... O Bree ;)
Finally taking off again. Wow, you guys seriously don't like the arc their aiming for? It was pretty obvious they had this planned for some while. Maybe they actually had this in mind when they originally had Andrew talk to the priest saying "I'm gonna be perfect until one day..." It certainly justifies Rex's death [to bring in this storyline].
Anyway... let me get my gay fanboyism out now and say that scene with Justin and Andrew was hot!!!! It certainly was worth the wait.

As far as the likeability of the arc or that if Andrew is really gonna bring Bree down (imagine her in jail, very Marth Stewart-y I would imagine)....
I actually like it alot and the gay factor has nothing to do with it. I don't see how so many people could really hate Andrew yet sympathize with Bree. Don't forget how unlikeable Bree is as a person. I would say I really like the character of Andrew, but only in the same sense that I love Bree; their purpose. What makes this storyline so compelling is that both are such flawed characters that only tragedy lies before them; they will bring each other down.

So when I said I like Andrew as a character... I don't mean I like that he's evil; I despise what he's doing to his mother. But then again, I could not like Bree as a person either... she's almost everything I stand against. But I love their characters so much because theu are humanizing these quite narrow minded individuals.

Funny how we thought Bree was all for laughs and giggles but her storyline is almost solely the heart of the dearkness in the show. And I really hope they don't give her any big happy endings. I'm hoping to see alot more development in this story.

Are the guys looking for Caleb bounty hunters or what?

Nice to see the Applewhites' main story finally integrating with the main cast for the upcoming episode.

Last night's episode was the best this season yet simply because Andrew was back, as well as Justin, and the scene on the bed was so fucking hot! That scene alone makes it the best episode this season, even if they didn't do anything. It's funny how it manages to be hotter than the pool scene and in that scene they were shirtless and kissing and in this clothed and not kissing (though almost). But this scene was just more intimate and in the pool scene you didn't see much anyway because it was so quick. Anyway, I hope there is a lot with these two studs this season. I actually think Andrew is hotter, though both are really hot.

It's kind of weird though that Andrew wouldn't think about the fact that if he turns him mom in she could go ahead and turn him in for his little hit and run accident. Though I understand him being pissed at her and wanting revenge since she was such a bitch about him being gay and I'd be pissed at her too.

Anyway, I could care less about the storyline with Alfre's character. It's pretty uninteresting for the most part.

Thank you.

I'm actually kind of relieved to take a week off, even though I love the show.

Boo to Survivor.

Right when the show starts gaining momentum and stability in viewers and story they're done for the year ;)

I'm hoping it's back as soon as January 8.

How could you pick a Survivor reunion hour over Grey's Anatomy

I have hope that Marc Cherry will really bring this Bree-Andrew storyline full circle and land it very nicely even if it takes another year or two. I actually I'm not hoping, I'm expecting him to.

But still something ummm bothers me. I've expressed how much I like Bree's and Andrew's characters because of their significance not because of the actual characters themselves. But I still wonder why Marc Cherry, a gay man, riding on the heels of America's second most watched show per week antagonizes the gay character he has written into the show.

Again, I'm not saying he's doing the gay community a horrible misdeed. I love where this storyline is headed. It's just a thought that has been circling around in my head for quite some time.

Well I can take a guess. What event has happened major in Libs life this year that she's talked about? And how might that have some relation to her watching a show she isn't as into?

As to the speculation about Andrew's character and why Cherry writes him like he does, I don't watch the show any more so take this with a grain of salt, but I have seen him say in interviews on TV that Rex and Bree are based on his (cherry's) real life parents. So that might be related to why it's like it is.

Well, I can understand if you really got invested ins some of the characters. Plus, it's following the 2 hour momentum, so *sigh* I guess I can excuse her. ;)
But seriously, Libs, hope you enjoyed it. I lost interest in Survivor but it was pretty addicting when I got into it.

Archie... you are right in that Bree was based on his mother and so was Rex's death in alluding to his father's absence (if I'm not mistaken). Still, I don't think he was blackmailing his mom ;) OR maybe he was... maybe that's why this show is so sinfully delicious!

And on a completely irrelevant note... someone who looks like Santa Claus hardly looks like he was capable of such evil thinsg when he was a teen.

Hmmmm...

Marc Cherry wants to bring in Doug Savant and Felicity Huffman's real-life spouses (Laura 'Sydney from Melrose Place' Leighton and William 'I'm in every movie like Samuel Jackson' H. Macy) as guest stars. hehehe.

I think Laura Leighton is perfect for the show.

I love me some Survivor.

And I taped Grey's Anatomy so I wouldn't be spoiled with Survivor.

 HaHa.... NO!

Everything just meshed so well together in this episode. The Applewhites story is finally breaking into everything. The housewives are finally back in power. Edie had decent screentime finally!! Bree and her storyline is coming back in style. The kiss plot could have been very cheesy and time filler, but it actually turned into something half-substantial. Okay, Susan is still a stick, but Mike is a bit more likeable now.

Yes, the gay kiss was a plus ;) but Housewives is finally getting back into its stride.

That was a much improved episode.

I was glad to see scenes between characters who normally wouldn't interact, notably Tom with Gabby and Carlos with Lynette.

I didn't think it was great, but it was good. I for one am starting to get a little annoyed with the narrating at the start and end of the episodes. Now it just feels like "same shit, different episode" from Mary Alice.

I'm tired of ABC using narration, period!

Housewives
Anatomy (well, maybe because Meredith is the most annoying lead ever, still love the show though... lol)
Emily's Reasons

I think there's some figure skating championship thing on.

Hehe. You missed a big one. I suggest downloading it on i-Tunes. IT's seriously the best way to go. It's only $2 and you don't need an iPod, just download and watch it on your computer!
