I agree. The ONLY evident reason why they lost the task was because they missed the meeting, and that fell squarely on Brian's shoulders. I actually think keeping Marshawn around would have been a good idea, since she probably would have had a flame under ass next week as a result of being spooked so badly.

And yeah, Trump's multiple firings would be cool if they didn't seem so calculated. In case no one knows, those product placing sponsors dish out a huge chunk of change to be featured on the show. Imagine if Trump called Best Buy and said "Well, the team really sucked this week so I fired half of them and now we're running 6 weeks ahead of schedual. So yeah, your spot just got cut..." :|

Plus, remember when Jennifer and Kristi were in the boardroom a few weeks back. Both of them displayed complete incompetance on the task, but Trump decided to keep Jennifer around for some, erm, reason...*wink* *wink* That would have been the most ideal time to fire two people. And the Dick's task too...but I would have only fired Jen and Josh on that one.

Hmmm, Marshawn really deserved to be fired, but I think Brian still had some potential. His major downfall was just not getting to the meeting on time. I also don't agree that he never stepped up, he kicked ass on the Zathura task, but oh well. Seems like nothing is going to stop the Alla vs. Randal final 2. (And Clay is 2-0 as project manager? That's better than Rebecca! What has this world come to?)

Not getting ht meeting is huge, would you hire someone who can't be bothered to arrive ont ime for a meeting that outlines you're whole task? You're not at time for shit like that, you show up early.

Showing up late sealed Brian's fate of being fired.

Even though Clay totally deserved to get fired, I'm actually surprised that Felicia managed to lead her team to a win. When she was blabing on about Levi "standing the test of time", I was all like "do you even know what you're talking about?" I mean, does she even have any credentials in the music industry? Anyway, I guess she did a good job going by the finished product.

As for Clay, well was there any doubt he wasn't going to get canned? He's been totally difficult, rude, and whinny. I'm actually pissed off at the show for picking him to participate, because it reminded me so much of how the show portrayed African-American women with Omarossa, Stacie from season two, and Verna from last year. Since he was the first openly gay person ever to compete on the show, they could have went with someone who didn't embody all those negative gay-stereotypes of being difficult/bitchy.

I'm really glad that Clay is gone. I don't think I could him for another week of his incessent whinning. I was also pretty disapointed with Randal and Rebecca after they didn't seem to do much. And where the hell did Felicia come from? She's been a non-entity most of the season and tonight, she hits it out of the ball park.

I'm disapointed for Rebecca too. I was really rooting she'd improve her record with a win. But meh...at least it resulted in Clay's firing :hahaha:

And yeah, I never thought Felicia ever contributed on an intellectual or creative way until tonight. She really earned big points when she picked up on how the band's arrangment wasn't in sync with the kind of music the station plays.

Oh, and how could we forget...the ODDS!!

Randal: 5-2
Alla: 4-1
Rebecca: 6-1
Felicia: 10-1
Adam: 20-1

Missed the Thursday show, just caught it on Prime tonight.

Randall really nailed the concept this week. It's like the first time since Alla was PM for the Dick's challenge that a team leader really seemed to understand the main point on how to win the task. Good for him.

As for the rest, well, not much to add. This was probably the first time Alla has shown any notable weakness in my eyes. She should interveined earlier to fix Felisha's HR problems and Adam's misfire of a decision to "wrap" carriges. Rebecca was a non-entity in terms of performing -- at least from what we saw. The thing that bothers me with her is that she always appears to make the right move, perform well, and yet for some reason, it just doesn't result in a win as often as it should.

In my eyes, Felisha's starting to look like she's out of her depth at this point in the competition, and Rebecca's track record is by far the least impressive. Unless either one of them hits it out of the park, I don't them making the final two...let alone winning.

Odds:

Randal: 2-1
Alla: 3-1
Rebecca: 8-1
Felisha: 15-1

I loved Felicia's look when Carolyn told her she was the weakest one left in the competition, priceless.

Trump was pretty much a complete moron for firing Alla. He just seemed to completely disregard all of her past tasks where she did phenominally and just left it to this one task. Now that Randal and Rebecca are in the final, Randal is going to steam roll over Rebecca since his reacord of 3-0 destroys Rebecca's 1-2.

I don't know if I agree with that, Alla is a great leader, but every job involves team work. She just refused to admit that she imght be even a bit difficult. And it was hre idea to put the texgt in the video, which was god awful. Felicia was being a total flake, but Alla has come across as good but difficult at itmes. I think if she had been willing to admit that jsut a bit Trump might not have fired her.

Randall should steamroll over Rebecca, who has always been a blah contesttant to me...I only know her name b/c she was the one white girl who wasn't blonde.

Hmm, looks like Becks is proving to be a formidalbe foe eh? Although I personally felt the Russian Ice Princess deserved a second chance, Rebecca is really stepping it up. I've always known she had it in her, it's just her overall record is terrible for some reason.

And I don't know if it's the editing, but it looks like Randall isn't batting at 100 this task. He seems a bit too laid-back, like he knows it's allready in the bag. It would be wise of him to bring his A-game, or else his stock will plumet faster than Felisha's self-esteem.

I agree with Cotton. Rebecca seems to be really on the ball with this one and I'm sure in the end Joe Poswhatever will come through, probably just some craftly editing. I'm really starting to doubt Randal now though. They seem to be making it out as though he is having a lot of problems and people are really questioning, which usually spells death when the editing is going against you.

Is anyone still watching Martha? Man, the contestants are much less impressive there than on Trump's version. Going by the final minutes of tonights ep, it looks like Bethany will sooner check herself into rehab for exhaustion before working for any corporation. And btw, isn't this like the 47th time this season that Jim got drunk?

Anyway, does anyone here care to guess what tomorrow's "big twist" will be on the Trumpentice? Your guess is as good as mine, although I have a ominous feeling in the back of my mind that, in staying true to this season's multiple firings, he'll probably hire both Randal and Becks.

Good episode and I'm glad that Randal was hired (I liked them both equally). But what I don't like is that Randal pretty much said no to Trump hiring Rebecca, which I'm sure he planned all along. I don't think it would have detracted from his win at all if Rebecca were hired since it was pretty much established that he was the clear winner, it would have been a sort of runner-up prize. The ending left on a bit of a sour note and leads me to believe that Randal may be a bit of a glory hog. Also, Alla was making a complete fool of herself. I mean, telling Trump that Rebecca was ineffective and was one of the weakest links on her team when Rebecca clearly stepped up to the plate and did a wonderful job on the last task? I mean come on. I also didn't appreciate how she interrupted Toral with her "Well that's what you think.", which was incredibly rude.

Well, Alla's a pretty tough cookie and personally I think she should have been in the final two along with Randall. She has the right to support Randall and give her opinion, however, I think the way she said it was catty and bitter. It came off more as an anti-Rebecca rant than an endorsment for Randall. And although I really didn't like the idea of hiring two people, I think Randall should not have barred the oportunity for Rebecca. It shouldn't have been his option to do so anyway...

Randal is an ass! He kept on shoving the record crap over and over again. He seemed so evil and what an ass for not letting Rebecca win!! If I were Rebecca I wouldn't even congradulate him. And Alla......bitch!!lol

Yes, the indignation that Josh and Alla displayed towards anyone who supported Rebecca was uncalled for.

If Trump wanted ot hire both of them he could, I don't get why saying hire me is such a bad thing when thiss wholet hing was a competition for a job. Randal can say anything he wants, Trump is going to do what Trump wants. If he hires both of them, why not hire Alla, Josh, and anyone else he likes as well. I think everyone expected Rnadal to support the hiring of Rebecca, butin a job interview you are there to convince them to hire you not someone else..if they hire both well then that's nice.

So tonight was the finale of Martha's Apprentice. I stopped watching about 4 weeks ago (I taped them, but never got around to watching them), but boy I'm I glad I didn't waste my time. This was so dull and uneventful it also brought tears to my eyes. It was painfully obvious that Dawna would win since Bethenny is pretty incompetent in my eyes. I thought Ryan, Howie or even Leslie... hell even Jim, would have been a better choice than Bethenny. Anyways, the whole thing was just dull. There was no sense of urgency or some sort of situation that could change the whole thing. The final boardroom was painful. Martha was so uncharastmatic (and they were saying Dawna didn't show any passion) and bland in her questioning. It was quite clear that Dawna was going to win. But when she did, I almost didn't notice it! The way it was done was so uneventful "I'd like to give you the job." What the hell kinda line was that? And the job wasn't all that impressive either. Overall, I was pretty leniant with Martha's edition before, but now I'm glad that it's cancelled.

Heh. I thought the giant garbage truck that was honking its horn was going to plow over Dawna for a second.

Yeah I agree. I guess Martha doesn't like to be asociated with failure, so she just totally mailed it in tonight. Oh well, at least it was only an hour!
