dolcevita wrote: It snowed here for the first time this year! I LOVE snow. I missed the actual flakes though, which makes me a tad sad. But when i woke up this morning there was a thin one inch (or so) blanket of snow on the rooftops! Its so nice. I hope is snows throughout the day actually, because there's nothing more exciting than seeing the flakes.
I hope it snows more than last year. we had a measly two storms, one of them a foot (or a little bit more) and one of them only a few inches. I want constant flurrying this year, a white holiday season, and a couple three footers!
it's 11 degrees in chicago dolce! with a light coating of snow since last week. it's beoooteefull

Snow can be alright sometimes, mostly for playing / aesthetic purposes. (waking up to a beatiful, white, crystalline blanket covering the ground/trees/everything can be breathtaking)
But excessive snow can be a huge pain in the ass. Especially when you have to walk a half mile to class a few times every day. And especially when you've gotta drive somewhere on the expressway. And when you've gotta shovel a bunch of it off your sidewalk. And when you're goin on the fourth month of freezing, snowy weather and you just want it to BLOODY STOP

Well, it's snowing...
It's just that none of the snow is sticking to the ground. School's definitely on. We'll barely get an inch if we're lucky.

Hey, guys, remember how I said I was cheekily wishing it'd snow down here?
Well, school was just cancelled.

I heard Dallas's temperature dropped from like 60 degrees to 25 degrees, but did it actually snow?
When I lived there (in '00), it snowed about half an inch and all the schools closed.
We need, like, three to four inches for that. But, it might happen tonight. We're getting around 4-7 tonight.

This is a strange thread. But it seems that Dolce is very happy. So I honour Dolce and her love for Snow with a special Dolce Christmas Avatar (This is just for you Dolce and please let me alive.....)

That is a hauntingly depressing picture... She says she's happy, but I just don't see it.
