Its going to be tricky this year since unlike last year Catwoman and Alexander were the only real movies that seem to stand out as being horrifically terrible. This year its alot more diverse since some movies can be really bad but they never received the same type of publicity while some celeberities make their debut on some movies that seem to be hits but its because their notrieity made the movie a success (Dukes of HAzzards). Where is In the Mix on your list? And Sound of Thunder?

I dont think Sound OF Thunder is big enough of a movie to be remembered by the razzie commitee. Sure Sound of Thunder has a 20 million budget but the other movies have a bigger budget and were quite big bombs themselves. I guess the non promo and marketting helped save Sound of Thunder from being remembered as a bad picture. In the Mix I completely forgot and probably should of been nominated if 50 Cent didnt hog the spotlight of a black artist trying to make it into the movies

Given it set the second weekend drop record, I think Undiscovered will pop up somewhere, most likely for Ashlee Simpson in the supporting category since she is the known name.

I think Charlize is a lock for the win. The Razzie's like nothing more than pointing out former Oscar winner's mistakes. Though Jennifer Garner and Jessica Simpson will probably show up as nominees.

The actor category is much more fierce... it will likely be like...

Why does everyone think Dukes will get nominated, it did great in the BO, and wasn't that bad (not it wasn't even close to good either)

The Razzies pick some awful films and some not-awful-but-sorta-bad-films-that-are-higher-profile.

Episode II did great at the razzies.

I think Charlize will "win" worst actress. The parallels with Halle Berry are just too good. Oscar winning actress, soon to be Bond-Girl, in an action movie that sucks...

Odd that they picked Dirty Love to sweep. It was such a small and unknown film, it was probably bad, but the Razzies usually smash the corporate movies. There's probably plenty of REALLY REALLY shitty indies, but of course none of them are ever going to take it.
