Well now, so I guess we have info which songs are original and which are being pushed. Thank God they are doing the bake-off, so that means Academy members have to sit through special presentations of the song samples. It *could* work against manipulative power ballads since the Academy members may very well be bored during the whole ordeal and upbeat songs can get notice. "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish's" paperwork should be submitted now or else they get disqualified, just like Clint's score for Million Dollar Baby (incomplete/unsubmitted paperwork).
