Yeah, twas' another great episode. House is easily one of the most, if not the most consistently entertaining show on TV. Great to see it doing so well in the ratings as well. It blows the craptacular 'Commander In-Chief' out of the water.

LOL Craptacular!
Well, you might be happy to know that the final numbers for Tuesday are out.
Commander in Chief - 14.78 million
House 14.15 (and no.1 18-49)

House himself Hugh Laurie was on Jay Leno tonight. He is very witty in real life as well, it seems. He didn't try and hide his accent so he sounded quite different from what one is used to from the show.

It was really weird seeing him present at the Emmys and hear his actualy voice after being so used to Dr. House's.

How's he able to hide his accent so effectively as to not be noticed?

Yeah he's one of Britain's top comic actors, he's great. If you like House and haven't seen Laurie before, I suggest renting Black Adder 3rd and Black Adder Goes Fourth from Netflix/Blockbuster. I can't watch him on House, I'm used to the Black Adder Laurie, man he was great in those shows.

Tonight's episode looks to be one heck of an hour of TV. Who else is looking forward to it?

It was a good episode (of course). House's escapades with "Steve McQueen" are hilarious.

Yet another great episode.
And yet again, the writers of the show validate my conversion to the "HoYay cruise line"....

Amazing episode! IMO the best of the season so far, very reminiscent of "Three Stories" from last season.
Anyone see it? Joe? Joy? Others? hehe. It seems like the writers do read message boards, Stacy asked House what's he hiding and he says "I'm gay... no but seriously, no girlfriend, always with Wilson..." (or something to that effect, but it's funny)
It seems like House is in hot water..... IN 2 WEEKS. Can't wait how this new switch of power is going to turn out. It's the Cynthia Nixon episode as well.

I saw it, but I was at a family outing while watching it so there was a little too much background noise for me to concentrate fully on it. From what I gathered, it was an okay episode but the three stories angle isn't exactly the best episode for the other members of my family to be introduced to the show (you have to know about the characters to care about much of what happened). It also doesn't help that I find Dr. Chase to easily be the dullest character on the show. Foreman and Cameron are much more interesting, IMO.

Foreman is definitely gonna have an interesting storyline in 2 weeks.

Yes, I saw it! I've been rushing to get my work done in class so I can get home in time every Tuesday night to watch House...
Being the new slasher that I am, that quote you quoted was absolutely AWESOME! I know we will probably never get *true* confessions--we'll only ever have the jokes--but at least the writers are giving us fodder for our ships and stories.
Of course, I couldn't care less *who* House is with. I find House to be so hot, I'm a House/Anybody shipper....
Too bad we have to wait a whole two weeks for a new episode... man, I don't know how I'm gonna get through winter hiatus (which just *has* to be when I've got winter vacation). The only thing that kept me going during the summer was that I hadn't seen all the episodes yet, so I was able to catch up...

Heh, that was a while ago, Christian
Anyone see this week's episode? I thought it was really good! First episode I watched of the new season since September. Hopefully I can watch it on a regular basis again.

Yup, I saw it. Too bad I start my job next week; I'll be working Tuesday nights from now 'til May... Drat.
Can't wait for the next couple episodes; I've read some spoilers on them, and they sound *intense*!

I gave this another shot and was really impressed so you can count me as a House fan too if it keeps up the quality. The episode I saw was where a Nun had what she claimed was stigmata and then an allergic reaction, creating a crisis.
How is this show doing in the ratings lately? Still going up? And is the first season coming out on DVD?

The first season is out on DVD.
So far, it's doing 14-15 million per episode, which is 8 million more than the first half of the first season before American Idol as lead-in.
It is expected to rise maybe 18-20 million when it returns.

Hugh Laurie is awesome, and I like his scenes with Robert Sean Leonard and Lisa Edelstein and the guest stars are used well unlike Will&Grace.
Though I wish they'd stay away from House's love life, having Caeron have a crush him as dull and Sela ward's character was way more interesting in season one when se knew she existed but she wasn;t around, her mystery was far more interesting then the reality and I love Sela Ward.
Still, a high quality show.

I always, always like it when he puts down his coworkers, his friend Wilson, and his specially his boss Cuddy.

I always liked Hugh Laurie, I was just more used to seeing him as this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/artic ... 0770.shtml
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/artic ... 85_2.shtml
Took me a while to get used to his American accent he puts on.

Yeah, we finally get a new episode of House this week! YAY!
Then there'll be another next week. Then the week after that is a new episode too, but on a Monday. Then another break 'til March... (I *think* I've got that all straight)
And I've heard/read some spoilers for the next couple episodes... We are in for a real ride!
