CATEGORY 7: END OF THE WORLDZ OMGZ
Is it really an appropriate time for this movie?
They advertise it with hurricanes and a scene of the Eiffel Tower being obliterated.
FANTASTIC TIMING.

didn't they do the same thing last year about the tsunami? It was something with a natural disaster, right?

CSI Miami I think did a tsunami episode, but I'm not sure if there were any TV movies that had one.

I specifically remember some Day After Tomorrow ripoff (even though DAT itself is a ripoff). I didn't watch it, but it looked really crappy and that Category 7 name sounds familiar.

This is a sequel of sorts to Category 6: Day of Destruction. That had people in elevators, a power grid being tampered with, a bank robbery, and a tornado tour guide. It was as bad as it sounds.

Category 7 shares some of the same characters, such as Randy Quaid's helicopter pilot. It looks bad but at least it looks to have countless scenes of destruction which are generally good for some entertainment value on their own.

Oh Jesus, does anyone remember 10.5????
I thought it was a sequel to that Dudley Moore and the chick with the corn-rows flick.

So, will there be a third?
I suggest "Category 8: Back to the Drawing Board, God".

Hmm.. kind half watching it right now. It has that crazy guy from Independence Day in it, as well as Locke's mother from Lost.
Edit... Now frogs are attacking and killing people.
I wonder if the actors and production crew ever get depressed that they're in a really cheesy made-for-TV movie that will be see for only one day and never talked about again.
