So I see you're a glass is half full person.

While this episode was better than the premiere I found too many things laughable and am already beginning to lose patience with this season. Charlotte, please get rid of her, she's like Kirstin's own Oliver, and that's not meant in a good way. Jimmy appears to be S1 Jimmy, no growth for you Jimmy, and Ryan also seems to be reverting quite nicely. Physical violence solves all problems. Then you have cartoon of Dean of Discipline, looking all hilariously evil at the end with that Taylor girl. It saddens me to see how far this show has dropped in such a relatively short time frame.

Summer and Seth though, they're still good.

I like Autumn Reeser's character. And yeah I agree Sandy Seth and Summer are the holding down fort of the show. I'm disappointed on what they've done with Jimmys character. Hes been through all these developments, Haley etc, and now hes a crooked theif again? Blah...

Prediction: Julie and Jimmy are about to get married, Luke comes back and proves the crookedness of Jimmy and taking his old flame for himself finally.

Another character that lasts a grand total of like 3-4 episodes. Jesus christ, EVERY SINGLE SUPPORTING CHARACTER has been taken out almost instantly after their short arcs with the big 4 are done. Couldn't they just keep this evil dean around, just to have him appear once in a while even if his storyline is done? The OC-ers have had like 18 consecutive people they are life-changingly connected with who have just moved away instantly, in the last 2 years alone.

Thats one area where OTH kills OC. Not only does it have 5 huge supporting characters who have been reuccuring for a while, with the deep storylines, they're also not afraid to have *GASP* extras. These 'extras' don't have storylines that are always completley dire and life-changing to the leads, they don't really have storylines at all. They're simply there to appear in episode to episode, and take a line or monolouge here and there, enough to make us remember their name when they're spotted later. They give the show a good check every once in a while.

Taylor should hook up with Ryan or something. I'd love to see Marissa become asexual, maybe that would make her more interesting.

Mischa's "O.C." Exposure

Mischa Barton was apparently channeling her inner Janet Jackson during a very revealing scene in last week's episode of The O.C..

During a dimly lit bedroom sequence, Barton, clad in a skimpy pajama top, rises from her bed. In a don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it shot, her breast briefly pops out of her top before she covers it.

Television-obsessed Website TVgasm.com was the first to report the nipple-slip after being alerted to it by a sharp-eyed fan.

"The shot was so dark, it was hard to notice," the site's report reads. "I sent the video to the TVgasm forensics lab for enhancement, and what we got back was a very grainy yet very recognizable boob exposure."

There you have it--official proof.

Though millions of viewers were tuned into the primetime soap at the time of the accidental breast-baring, a Fox spokesperson said the network has not received any complaints.

However, in this time of fierce watchdog groups and an ever-vigilant FCC, the network is not out of the water just yet.

Ever since Jackson's breast-baring incident during her halftime performance at the 2004 Super Bowl led to a record $550,000 fine for CBS, the phrase "boob tube" has lost some of its luster.

After the wardrobe malfunction heard 'round the world, numerous shows, including America's Next Top Model and ER, edited footage to ensure that nothing that could be judged inappropriate made it onto the air.

Apparently, the powers that be over at Fox were looking the wrong way when Barton's breast made its brief appearance on The O.C.

Now in its third season, the glossy teen drama has failed to live up to the ratings it generated in its first and second seasons.

For the week ended Sunday, The O.C. landed in 78th place, with some 5.7 million viewers, per Nielsen Media Research.

No data was available on just how many of those viewers spied Barton's boobie during the episode.

Oh, did I mention how much I love Taylor? She's so cute and sweet. She had better become a series regular, added to the opening credits and all. I'll hate this show if she becomes yet another character that hangs around for a while before disappearing.

I wonder when Ryan's brother's gonna return? Probably in February or March or sometime to cause more trouble for Marissa.
