 Suggestion About Thread Archive Threads
I do agree that we need to keep archives, but I'd like to suggest that we keep them in their own sub forum, just like the WOKJ articles have their own, as it could eliminate having an unnecessary sticky thread cluttering up the individual forums. If anybody needed to find an old archived thread, they could just go directly to the archive sub forum to find it.

Sounds like a good idea, BJ likes

I don't know. A sub-forum for, like, four or five threads maximum? I don't think one sticky is equivalent to "clutter" on forums, and it would take more effort to get to your thread by having to go to another section to find the link.

Actually, every forum should be archived, and will definitely need to be as time goes by and the forum continues to grow, and it's not like it's a chore to go to a special forum that contains all the archives. You'd be a pretty lazy person if it was. It's just a click away.

Hmmmm. Would that go for the archive of review threads in the critic section too? I noticed no one even looked at at when it didn't have a detailed title. Now viewing has gone up, but still, I feel like if its not in that section people won't remember to chech if the movie already has an entry, etc.

Sounds like something I thought of for a while ago where I asked if we can have a section for the archive forums that are not here anymore (ie the user forums like the uwe boll forum!)

An archive forum seems like it would be a good place for many things to be stored where they are easy access to locate, and eliminate needless clutter.
Perhaps for forums that once existed, as you dais.
For review archives, dolce, I think it would work fine if everybody knew where the archives were. I think it would be easy enough to get the word out about it.
It could also be a good place to store the rules for every one of the box office games that are in the games and quizzes forum.
I think stuff would be neater and better organized if the clutter was cut down. We already got rid of the rules in every forum, and that looks much better.

I, personally, don't see how one thread is considered "clutter."
In the Everyone's A Critic forum, there's clutter because there's about 5-6 stickied threads (or more, at times). Other forums, though? I don't see the big deal. It's much easier than a forum for archives.

I don't mind them personally, and while I dont know how used they are, I'm pretty sure the one in the Critics section is used a lot.
