Good Night, and Good Luck. - A-
Took me a little while to get into the story, but once I was in, it was fascinating. The tone and the mood are great. The performances are perfect to the point where you feel you are watching a documentary. There is no hint of performing. I mean, people are chatting and interrupting each other, and you have trouble hearing clearly what everybody is saying, just like in a real office. The little complaint I have is that I wish it is longer and gives more depth to the entire story. I was really into it and wanted to learn more about that episode of history.
Two for the Money - B+
The movie surprised me in a good way, and the key is Al Pacino. His charisma is so out there and makes each scene shine that I just love seeing him walk and hearing him talk. I was very much engaged until the story weakened in the final 30 minutes.

Finally saw this... I'm thinking I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I've seen Firefly but I liked it.

Maria Full of Grace - B+
Well acted, well written, and very unique in its story. From the beginning to the end they choose to present the story in a way that has us relating and sympathizing with Maria in her plight to find her place in the sun.

High Tension - D The movie was like the mind of a serial killer. Illogical, stupid, exhausting, and without a point.

Last night/this morning:
BATMAN BEGINS - 5/10 (C-)
The first half is pretty damn dull, and the second half, while a bit more interesting, doesn't do much to improve it. I did like the ending though and thought it was a nice set-up for a sequel, which I'd still see and there's almost no way it wouldn't be better than this one. I also found this kind of cheesy at times in its effort to be serious. The part where the guy goes "I've got to get me one of those" was lame.
Overall though I found this pretty boring, overlong, and overrated. I can't believe it made so much at the Box Office because other than fanboy geeks I can't exactly picture a ton of people loving this and seeing it again. To me the thought of seeing it again is torture.
LAND OF THE DEAD - 7/10 (B-)
It was good, but not great. Kind of disappointing. Simon Baker was pretty sexy though, and Asia Argento was cool. I totally don't get why that big fat guy knocked out that one woman who was with them. I felt bad for her. And I also felt bad for the guy who got bit that Asia's character shot. I don't think it would have hurt her to give him one more minute to live. He was like, "No, no" when she was going to shoot him, she didn't even give him a chance to say any last words. I thought that was mean. I liked her character and thought she was cool, but she lost some cool points there.
SAVING FACE - 8/10 (B+)
I loved it! It was really cute. I'd recommend it to fans of Kissing Jessica Stein, and also to people who didn't like that movie. It's similar enough to please fans, and yet different enough to please people who didn't like that movie. I enjoyed it a lot and will definitely buy it eventually.
SIBLINGS - 8/10 (B+)
This one surprised me. I saved it for last because I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it ended up being the most entertaining of the ones I rented. It was a good thing I saved it for last because it made staying awake easier. I found it to be a really solid and enjoyable dark comedy. I also thought the oldest boy was pretty sexy. Yum! I will buy this one eventually too.

To Kill A Mockingbird(in class)-C+/C
Ehh, its pretty much a stage-reading. A bunch of sections are complete point-for-point word for word dialouge, with everything exactly the same. The trial goes on for 30 minutes, pretty much all of it just reading from the book. It has its moments and all, but I was looking for something more. Mary Bedham as a child actor as Scout gives one of the most masterful child performances I've ever seen, but to weight it down, Gregory Peck as Atticus has got to be the most annoying actor in the history of film. Hes horrible. This is supposed to be the #1 hero in the history of cinema, according to AFI? Come on. Not even close here.

Wedding Crashers
Well i didnt find it THAT hilarious, just funny moments here and there. The movie just felt apart in the second hou and the ending wasn’t all that great. It was pretty much predictable.
Vince and Owen were great in there roles, McAdams was great too (im starting to like her , cute girl)
B/B-
The best Comedy of the Year for me, is still The Longest Yard, and Dodgeball and Anchorman are far better IMO!

Have you seen House of Wax? It's not "better," but it's so much more fun to watch.

Cinema Paradiso - 10/10 (American version)
One of the best endings ever in film, and a moving, masterfully made, bittersweet tale of love, the movies and friendship. I can't wait to watch the 170-minute version.

Saw II
Wow. Probably the best sequel to a "classic" horror film I've ever seen. I actually managed to guess the "uber-twist" well beforehand, but it still hit me when it happened. Flick also features the coolest possible homage to Saw that you can imagine.
It's as much Cube as it is Saw I, and I loved the hell out of it.
