Nope. The killed character is supposibly a regular, Ana-Lucia doesn't count. And I've heard Episode 8 is her flashback episode, so she'll most likely be alive.

And Kate has never met Ana-Lucia, and I doubt the others will make it through their journey in all of one episode. I think maybe in Episode 7 they'll arrive.

On the other hand they did say that the killer is revealed in a flash back episode, which could be Ana Lucia's. And a confrontation of some kind between Ana and Kate is possible if they knew each other in pre-crash regular life. Stranger coincidences have happened (Desmond and Jack).

The only tthing that's great about Nov.9 is that I have my last mid-term that day and no work!!! I can come home and just get completely LOST for the first time without having to watch a recorded tape!!

The overnights for 2.05 were reported to be 20.72 which would have been a 4.4% drop, its most steep thus far. But with actuals, the drop from the 4th to the 5th episode was tied for the best week-to-week drop thus far in the season.

2.01: 23.47 million
2.05: 21.38 million (-8.9%)

The drop thus far in viewers from the season premiere to the latest episode is 8.9%. That might seem like alot, but take a look at the Housewives drop from Episode 2.01 to Episode 2.05

2.01: 28.36 million
2.05: 25.22 million (-11.1%)

I know I'm overanalyzing alot of stuff; it has only been 5 episodes! But something has to keep me away from highlighting these pages!

Not possible [highlight]. Kate can not kill of Ana Lucia because they still haven't introduced the love-triangle story line. The person who dies dies on the Nov. 9th episode. The episode airing after that, episode seven, is focused SOLELY on the tail end survivors. Which means that is when they will probably find Jack et al. at the end of the episode, and it's probably going to focus solely on their journey TO find Jack, with flashbacks on THEIR first 48 days on the island. So killing off Ana Lucia is not possible.

I predict slightly less then 23M viewers.

I read on a site that... 2.8 Episode focuses on "forgiveness", being that it's a Kate episode (maybe?) I would now lean as her being the killer.

Boone's death was spoiled.

It makes sense yes, since another small spoiler posted a couple days ago in this thread was that the killer was someone who has fooled most of the survivors other than a select few who know their real story. That fits Kate perfectly.

If the short history would repeat itself, then Shannon wouldn't die. Boone didn't get a flashback episode for the episode he died in, so would they really spoil it for the fans like that? Wouldn't most expect her to die then? I say it's more of a shocker. Even though people like myself and Libs (I think) have grown to like Shannon, most would say she's the best bet to be killed off because she's the least important of the bunch. Gah... I don't know... it's a long ride to November 9th.

And, if anyone gets an ACTUAL spoiler as to who ACTUALLY dies, make it VERY, VERY CLEAR in the spoiler warning. I don't mind theories and rumors, but the next best thing to factual information is what I want to steer clear from.
