Its one announcement after another these days.

I've mentioned before that I have no intentions of running this entire site alone. With eagle on an indefinite hiatus, I had to do a lot of thinking. It was obvious I needed someone. But I also needed someone with coding skills, writing xpertise, marketing background, free time, finances, someone i could work with and a whole bunch of other stuff. It was obvious that there won't be anyone if I wasn't to compromise on this.

First to explain the eagle situation.
Eagle has not completely elft the site. He will still post at the forums when he feels like it. Even though I have full decision making authority over the main site and the forum, eagle still helps me out with things I cannot handle. It is my hope that eagle regains his interest in the site again as I know it is something he wishes to do but had lost his heart for it. eagle has the option of returning to the website at any time with equal ownership.

Currently, everything is still under Eagle's name and some developments over the past week will require me and eagle to speak again about whats up. Eagle needs to be filled in and eagle needs to do the same for me.

So in the meantime, the choice of person who was required for this task was pretty obvious except for a few things I had to consider. I'm not like eagle. I do not know how he ever trusted me with the entire site without even as much as speaking with me over the phone. For me to run this thing with someone required the person to show strong commitment and the possibility of something more than just a chat over IM. While sleeping with him was the preferable choice, our marital status at the moments would not allow us to be as forthcoming as we would like. But compromises have been reached and it feels like a good time to make the announcement.

This site will be operated with Loyal. While he has no coding skills, knows not how to make any images, how to upload a page ...

Ok, let me try that again. Loyal is a great writer and is very creative. He has experience in marketing and on times, has helped me with getting in touch with people I wouldn't normally be able to. He has good connections and even though hes in IOWA, he is willing to travel around if the site requires it. Loyal is also hardworking (if a TV show is not on), has finances to help me with ideas i had for the site (which was important and I was open with him about it) and finally, was willing to put up with my controlling nature.

The most important point for me is that Loyal is taking time out of his schedule to come see me personally in Montreal next month so we can finally meet face to face, lip to lip and discuss our immediate needs for the site and our long term goals for it.

Loyal and I will be equal partners in this. Eagle has the option to join in anytime.

Anyhow, great decision. Now that I think about it, it's the 2nd best decision ever made at this website.

Phew, I'm getting physically and emotionally drained from all these congratulations. Everything is changing, voices are getting deeper, hair is growing in odd places... World of KJ is going into puberty.

All I can say is that I'm very excited to be managing the website with Baba. I'm flying up to Montreal the weekend after next to go over our business plan. Suffice to say, there are some MAJOR plans in store for WoKJ. 2006 will prove to be groundbreaking.

Though I won't be an admin or mod per say, I want everyone to take advantage of my open door policy. My focus is on the main site but our forums are an important part of KJ's well-being. If you have a suggestion or concern, feel free to PM me.
