If someone has bothered accessing the main site ( ), you'll notice 2 added images on the right side.

Now, ignore the images themselves and please let me know 2 things

a) Do you find the image too big?? Too small?? Just right.

b) If you've visited the page (or haven't), does the blueish outline over the image annoy you? Looks good? Indifferent?

As Box Office Factor is down for some time, would it be possible for WoKJ to have a calculating page as well? Many people calculate after every projections, estimates, and as BOF is down, think it would be really helpful.

Yeh I think a calculator would be a very good idea, was something we should have added ages ago.

I still think the images need to be a little smaller verticly.

What's with the European style notations?

The white all around the page is no good. Breaks it up too much. It makes it feel to me like a bunch of rectangles on a piece of paper....like they dont belong together. Maybe extend that light blue all the way around, or something...

At the VERY least, the title "Featured Articles" needs to come down aligned with the blue...no white in between.

I think eagle's right, actually. Do something like this, with smaller pics maybe...I actually think three "featured" reviews more rectangular and less square would be better still.

and are you refering to the color, size or face. the color is understandable .. as eagle said .. i dont have an eye for such things.

I think it's font, color, placement, the whole deal. It just makes those pictures look like a personal website where you open paint and throw a tag onto your pics before uploading em to aol hometown. I dun really know of any more professional fonts, but maybe look for someone with fotoshop smarts that can integrate the wording into the pictures more...betterly. Yknow?

While we're still working on the side panel, do people have suggestion for the 10 links that you see?

a) I'm not changing the font type for them!
b) I'm not changing the blue font for the unvisited links.

c) I absolutely loathe the gray color for the visited links. Suggestions for this will be appreciated. If you can state a color code, it would be helpful.

Not sure what you need exactly...maybe what formulas and such? Hope so, as that's all I know. :-)

Prediction --- Actual --- Accuracy

Accuracy is basically Prediction/Actual when Actual is bigger, or 2-Prediction/Actual, when prediction is bigger. Also, when Prediction is more than twice bigger than Actual we'd get negative accuracy (which would be great for some other game!), so some function needed there to automatically make Accuracy 0 when that happens.

Now we'd need 9 or 11 more rows of that, plus one cell which calculates average of Accuracy cells and we're set.

As for fonts, I agree with Kypade...would actually prefer normal font that rest of the site has, but maybe outside of pics? Under them, or atleast on bottom of them.

c) I'd recommend leavin it same color as normal links, I personally don't like any changes to colors of visited links. Plus, now when mouse-overing links are in orange, which is quite hard to read.

D1=Accuracy

B1 and C1 should be basic input fields, D1 is the only one that needs a formula...and this is it.

D1=IF(C1<B1;C1/B1;IF((2-C1/B1)<0;0;2-C1/B1))

Maybe something simpler:

D1 (if actual is bigger than prediction)=prediction/actual
D1 (if prediction is bigger than actual, but not more than twice as big)=2-prediction/actual
D1 (if prediction is bigger than actual, but more than twice as big)=0

This is now just for one movie, so need 9 (or 11 when 12 movies to predict) more rows. And then at the end, just calculating average of accuracy cells (D3+D4+D5+....+D10/10).
