These were my five favorite season one episodes, not counting the pilot, which I would rank as first:
1) "Walkabout" (Locke-centric)
2) "Numbers" (Hurley-centric)
3) "Exodus 1 +2" (season finale)
4) "Confidence Man" (Sawyer-centric)
5) "Hearts and Minds" (Boone and Shannon-centric)
"Raised By Another" (Claire), "House of the Rising Sun" (Jin and Sun), "Deus Ex Machina" (Locke) and "Solitary" (Sayid) are also up there.

You must mean Exodus 2 & 3...

I think I will Netflix the rest of the season (should take a week?), TiVo the episode on Wednesday (is it new?) and when I finish with Season 1, I will buy the 3 or 4 season 2 episodes on iTunes and catch up with it that way.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction out of nowhere here: The half-latino girl, that Hurley asked out in the record store, shes gonna be Ana-Lucia's sister, half-sister, or cousin. She'll play a part in the Episode 8 flashback I'm thinking.

Spoiler: highlight to read
www.spoilerfix.com I just found out HOW the female on Lost dies and ... I want to cry. I'm not kidding. It's so shocking. So good. And so unbelievable. The doomed female dies NOT at the hands of the monster. But it is at the hands of someone we know who .... well, given this twist, just might BE a monster. Source: Kristin on E!Online

I checked it and couldn't find anything about that other than what he posted and a couple other little things which were so vague as not to be much of a spoiler.
I also saw this silly tidbit there '"The relationship between Shannon and Sayid will come to it's logical conclusion. There will be pressing of flesh, which hasn't happened yet and is about time," Naveen Andrews.'
Didn't Sayid and Shannon go out for a beach blanket getaway late at night last season, and they showed them kissing and spending the night together on the blanket. What are they 14? They didn't have sex?
I doubt they will kill off more actors anytime soon regardless what they said over the summer. It would be ratings poison, many of them have real followings or at least people who tune in expecting to see them.

Kristin at E! has an incredible track record when it comes to Lost spoilers. I'm sure she's dead on this time as well. They need to kill characters to keep the show realistic.
I heard that quote from Andrews on ABC's The View last week. Pretty obvious stuff.

Well if they kill off Sun or Kate I might rethink watching this show, they are among the 3-4 main ones that I tune in to see. The only one that might be kill-offable is Claire but why kill any of them any time soon?
Better idea: If they killed off Rodgriquez, in fact if they had her character drawn and quartered, it would be ratings gold.

Nah, they say it's a major character. Rose doesn't fit the bill... If it's Rose, I'll be sorely disappointed.
Apparently it's definitely not Claire, and I doubt it'll be Shannon (killing off both Rutherfords?) or Kate (a bit too major a character). My bet would be either Sun or Ana-Lucia.
If it is Rose, I'd wager it's Bernard who kills her.

It has to be Sun. That way she would still have a connection to the show (Jin) and could always come back for flashbacks, just like Boone. If any of the others died, we'd NEVER see them again.
My top 5 favorite episodes:
1. Exodus Part 1
2. Walkabout
3. Raised by Another
4. Numbers
5. All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues

http://thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=22864 This person is intentionally killed, although the reason will not be known to us immediately. This is not a LOST murder mystery though, it's more of a why'd they do it. The person who dies is a crash survivor. The person who kills them will not be revealed until the November sweeps week episode (of course). The network will dangle this information for a while to build anticipation. (Another "who shot JR" moment.) The full time-line is: Death in Episode 6. Rerun the following week. Then episode 7 which is mostly told in flashback from the tail-section point of view, but ends with a teaser of who killed ________. Then Episode 8 which reveals who the killer is. Look for this person to deceive everybody except for a select few.

Hmm... that's Shannon's episode. Of course, Boone didn't die in his own episode, but still.

Whoa, I just started re-watching Season 1 again. Got through "Homecoming", "Outlaws", "... in Translation", and "Numbers". Also started "Deus Ex Machina". Should get through the rest tomorrow, and I'll post my top five later.

Oh, and there's a rerun next week. So, I guess the Episode 6 thing that someone talked about won't happen till November 2nd. The rerun next week will be "Adrift". Odd choice, considering it JUST aired within the last month.

Just going by what they say (meaning maybe it's all b.s. who knows, but lets pretend it's real) then it's most likely Charlie killing Claire. They said that it was a "purty" woman who dies, which means Kate, Sun or Claire. Sun adds so much in the way of plots, Kate is a ratings draw, Claire is the most "red shirt" of the three women.
