This Thread Rules!
Dkmuto, should be at least to Giotto by now in his class, if not hitting the high renaissance. Lots of images to come shortly.
BTW, bABA please check 'The Site' for my last post in the Lit Mod thread, and let me know what you think.

You know he's the artist accreditted with having "created" the most new colors? I vaguely remember my Chemistry and Art professor saying something like there are 3 colors he created the compounds for or something. He made alot of his pigments from scratch. One of my prof's favorites.

No I didn't know that, but it makes sense, I find his paintings dazzling.

Maxfield Parrish "Ecstasy:"
Michaelangelo Buonarotti "The Last Judgement"
Maxfield Parrish "The Young King:"
(AKA the album cover of Enya's "The Memory of Trees." She ripped it straight from Parrish)

Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
So much imagination throughout the triptych.

Michael Turner and Frank Miller are two of the best, but someday, you'll have to step up to the major leagues, and leave those minor league heroes behind. ( Marvel characters are much better)
The name on the cover that I quoted above, Walter Simonson, is my single biggest influence in creative writing.

When Batman Begins makes half of what Spider-Man 2 has made next year, I'll remind you of this quote.
