Hey Steve,
I didn't know you joined, but I remember PM-ing you to take a look at the boards...
How'd your dad respond? Was it a long, structured e-mail or just a short "I'm gay, I don't care what you think" thing extended to five sentances.
And, how's Syracuse, by the way? (I remember you mentioning the school in a thread at BOM, hehe). What are you majoring in?

Steve wrote: Well I just told my dad I was gay via an email, he's basically the last one so I'm offically ALL OUT Y'ALL!!! And I also got an A on my last writing paper, that doesn't happen very often for me... And I have, what, 30 some posts? YAY!! heheh
E-mail? hehe
Hope it goes well (you'd find out how he reacted to the news yet?)
I, ummmm, my hair is now like 3.45 inches. Must be some kind of milestone.

Naw I haven't found out his reaction yet, I imagine it'll be pretty accepting though, if not somewhat ignorant. I elaborated more in the email than a 5 word sentence, but didn't blubber on too much about it. I'll wait to see what he says first to try and answer his questions. Thanks for the interest guys!
Syracuse is preettty good, I wouldn't say great though. I love the freedom that college allows, but Syracuse specifically might not be the ideal social or geographical location for me. People here have a tendency to be somewhat cold, lots of rich jerks too. But, like anywhere, there's certainly some great folks as well! I'm majoring in TV/Radio/Film, but I have no idea what I want to do with it... :? Oh well!

Was it your first choice?
I might consider it if I decide to pursue communications. They've got a great program!

Yeah they certainly do have a great program, and yes it was my first choice. I realized I didn't look into nearly enough schools though, I was too lazy and stupid. But the communications school is one of the primary reasons, if not the top reason, why I chose Syracuse.
