Oh wow, I didn't even know promos were online yet. Oh well, I'm a huge fan of this show and I'll definitely be watching after the cliffhanger from season 2

I thought the season 2 finale was amazing and better than season 1's finale.

Wow, I can't believe this show is already in Season 3. I remember the short summer run in Season 1, and thinking (this show is going to sink like a stone). Wow. Was I wrong or what?

Autumn Reeser joins the cast? Shes really cool. Anyways the last 4-5 episodes of Season 2 put in on a roll a bit, Jess and Trey worked pretty well, and Theresa's apperance, and the shooting at the end was striking. That doesn't make up for the disappointment of the first 4/5s of the season though, Lindsey snored me and Alex's stock went down as the season progressed, and the lesbian fiasco, and Zach sucked, and etc. So I'm hoping they'll step up a bit. The season 2 finale was better than most of the season. Then again the One Tree Hill 2 hour season finale was like the Casablanca of teen drama, leaps and bounds ahead.

All of the new characters pretty much sucked, especially Lindsay and Zach. I loved Alex though, and the Trey/Jess storyline worked even though the girl who played Jess was one of the worst actresses I've ever seen

The 3rd season premiere is this Thursday!!! I can't wait. Only about 4 and half days to go!! I also got The O.C. Season 2 on DVD and I can't stop watching the season 2 finale. It is one of my favorite episodes. I also loved the New Year's episode in Season 1.

Season 3 begins tonight at 8pm. I am so excited. This is one of my most anticipated season premieres of the season. The others being Desperate Housewives, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, and One Tree Hill.

I love The O.C., heh.
Well-done season premiere, although I think they should've shown more of Kirsten in rehab with Jeri Ryan. Guess that'll start to expand.

Jeri Ryan!! YAAAAY
I betcha she's up to no good.
As long as she doesn't turn into an Oliver-clone.

I like Trey. I hope he doesn't leave for long. And Jeri Ryan yeah looks deliciously evil.
I don't want them to go very much further with this investigation stuff. Get back to the regular school fun.
Oh and Sandy called Jimmy a gold-digger! And he had a point too. He DID come back right after Caleb died, and immediatly got the family proposal together. We can't forget his crook-ish ways.
EDIT-All in all though it wasn't greattt. Dragged on alot. I think OTH could completley it out of the water this year.

To be honest, I was kind of bored with the premiere. How many times can Ryan be arrested before it gets old? I was glad that it appears everything is going to return to normal from here on out. It'll be interesting to see how low Kirsten stays in rehab.

Well next episode looks to be continuing the investigation bit, which I wish they wouldn't do. Sandy goes after Julie, and Marissa+Ryan get results of a bad rep coming from this whole thing, meaning they get kicked out of school.

Ryan and Marissa both look like they will get kicked out of school. Jeri Ryan seems to be a lesbian who want Kirsten. It was sad to see Ryan watch the only member of his real family Trey leave him again, but it is for the best.

OMG, please, no! (Uh, remember Alex?)
Let her be something else, like an undercover cop or a guardian angel... lol

I think it would be hilarious if Jeri Ryan was, like, a contract killer who was targeting Kirsten because someone put out a hit on her or something. That would shake things up.

Great episode tonight. Sucks that Marissa and Ryan got expelled. I hate the new dean, but I was happy Ryan punched him. Taylor Townsend is so annoying, who will be the new love interests. A few guest stars will come on the show and they will have romances with the many cast. It has happened the past two seasons (Anna, Alex, Zach, Oliver) who will try to break up the two couples, but they will end up together by the end of the season. Could Taylor Townsend be one of the love interests?

I highly doubt it. And I didn't really hate Taylor. She was funny in a bitchy way
Tonight was a GREAT episode, one of my favorites since the earliest days of the first season. Summer was awesome tonight and it proved once again why she's my favorite character. Although the new characters are really annoying me. The worst is the new Dean of Discipline at the Harbor School. I swear, I hate him more than Oliver! What an ignorant and annoying prick! I was so glad when Ryan punched him at the end but he is a fucking asshole and Marissa needs to shoot him Some of the things he was saying - ugh he was the worst! Anyways, Ryan and Marissa got expelled but I know they'll be back at the school before the year is over. Hopefully the Dean dies or something. That would be awesome! And Jeri Ryan's character annoys me. I want to know what she's up to But other than that it was a fantastic episode thanks to the fact that Summer took center stage Great music tonight as well! This season is shaping up to be better than the second.

I agree. This is a much better season. Last season was okay at the beginning then got good at the end.

So I see you're a glass is half full person.
While this episode was better than the premiere I found too many things laughable and am already beginning to lose patience with this season. Charlotte, please get rid of her, she's like Kirstin's own Oliver, and that's not meant in a good way. Jimmy appears to be S1 Jimmy, no growth for you Jimmy, and Ryan also seems to be reverting quite nicely. Physical violence solves all problems. Then you have cartoon of Dean of Discipline, looking all hilariously evil at the end with that Taylor girl. It saddens me to see how far this show has dropped in such a relatively short time frame.
Summer and Seth though, they're still good.

I'm beginning to hate The O.C. and I think I have found the problem; Marissa. Her character never seems to grow. A typical 2-3 episode run is 1) Her doing something stupid. 2) Dragging Ryan into it. 3) Her and Ryan break up. 4). Ryan/Sandy/someone else fixes her problem and Ryan and her get back together. 5) Repeat.
This is a problem as Marissa is a rather weak and whiny character in the first place and she seems to hold back any growth, as a character, for Ryan. Get rid of her.
As always, Seth and Sandy held down this episode and made it watchable.
