its not really a banning issue. people use these on public and/or family computers. with avatars and signatures repeating everytime you post, its sort of uncomfortable even browsing around .. the risk of someone walking in and getting the wrong idea is very possible. plus, some bosses may interpret that as you watching porn and shit. same thing applies for grahpically violent pictures by the way.

the difference is, someone needs to closesly look at my avatar, know who the guy may be and know his history .... very different from suddenly looking at some avatar and questioning yourself if you just saw a penis
