Ok, I don't like the Nerd Herd either, but Janelle is sill a classless, over-rated bimbo.
Anyway, so does anyone here think James can still save himself? I pretty much think he's a lost cause, but I guess it's always possible for Howie to shoot himself in the foot. Still, I see James gone in a 4-0 vote.
And I don't need the feeds to call that one

I really respected the way James handled himself during the Veto ceremony. Even though he has so much contempt for every person left in the game, he's one of the few that plays the game with discretion...at least when he's not bragging in the diary room.

If that isn't enough proof that she was joking, then there is no hope.
I didn't hear her say "I'm kidding". But yeah, if that's the first thing that poped into her head as a joke, than there is no hope.
You. Will. Like. Janelle.
Seriously, you are the only person I've seen who doesn't.

Oh, also, I was laughing my butt off when Ickette was crying and complaining.
Then I just got mad when Ape and Maggot had the audacity to question America's voting, because you know, we all must love Ivette and hate Howie and Janelle.
I guess Beau is on top of my Nerd Herd list now.

There was a lockdown, and thye came in to find quarters. April got nothing, Howie got a build a ship in a bottle thingy, James got molding clay, Maggie got a wristband (like the two James wears), beau got a bedazzler, and Janelle got a Jenga game. Ivette got a catered meal for the house, and they chose Japanese, which they're eating now.
It pisses me off because everytime she can bring it up, Ivette says how if Janelle won the catering, she would have chosen what she wanted, not consulted the rest of the house like she, Ivette, did. She keeps repeating this over and over and over. I want to beat her. And everyone keeps thanking her, meanwhile she did N O T H I N G. The catering prize was hidden in the house, all she did was find it. If she didn't find it, someone else would have. It's not like she won some competition for it. Godddd.

Highlight for info on the competition and nominations (double eviction week)
They had to roll a ball, and try to get it into certain holes. Each hole was worth a certain amount of points. There was also a hoop. If you go through the hoop, you get 10 points. If you go over the board, you lose.
Maggie goes first. Her first role is 2 points, second roll is five. SEVEN POINTS total. Beau is up next. First role is 5 points, second roll six points. ELEVEN POINTS total. Next up is Ivette. First roll is 5 pts, second roll is 4. NINE POINTS total. Next up is Howie. First roll, six points. Next roll, six points. TWELVE POINTS TOTAL. Next up is Janelle. First roll, 6 points. Next roll, 2 points. EIGHT POINTS total.
It's double eviction week. Howie must now nominate two people.. he chooses Ivette and Beau for his nominations.

Wooohoooo Howie!!!!!! Excellent nominee picks. He has totally redeemed himself. Bye bye Ivette or Beau. Even if one of them win veto, whichever one doesn't is still gone, unless Howie and Janelle change their minds and vote for the new person put up. Otherwise, one of them is GOOOONE!
That was so tense. Howie was the last to go, and he kicked everyone's ass. That was awesome. I was so worried Beau would be HOH again. Thank goodness he isn't. Howie is the first to be HOH twice!!! Yeah!
The only thing that sucks, and Howie mentioned it right away, is that he is HOH for such a short time. He only gets the room for a few days. It sucks. The outcasts won both on the short times. However, this week was a physical challenge, and Howie won it. If next week goes back to question challenges, Janelle could possibly win. Which could be amazing. But I'm getting ahead of myself here.
I'm just really happy.
PEACE, Mike.

Damn! I knew when Julie announced it was another double eviction week, that Janelle or Howie would win and get screwed out of the whole week as HOH.....AGAIN! Oh well, as long as one of those geeks get tossed, eh? That competition was a bloody nail-biter and Howie actually seemed like he threw the last ball too hard. It looked like he got a bit frazzled when he was asked to immediately nominate two people, but he made the right choice in the end.
Also, I can't believe how awkward that Rachel/Jennifer segment was. There is such a palpable sense of dislike between them that it's kind of uncomfortable to watch. James should add an interesting dynamic.

Oh James, it seems like he was perfectly positioned in the house a week ago, and then BAM! April wins HOH and he gets backdoored so easily that he barely even had a chance to fight for himself. Oh well, so long James!
Now, with Howie and Janelle back in power, I'd say Spazette will FINALLY ride off into the sunset. I hope, for her sake, that she keeps the histrionics to bare minimum this week, but knowing her, I'd say we're in for one more full-on tantrum. And plus, with Janelle staying for at least one more week, it should be safe to say that class will continue to remain far away from the house.

What? Another double eviction week??? This summer of secrets season rocks.....
I'm sorry, but what are they thinking, the season has been going more and more downhill from a cliff with every episode. And its not just because the nerd herd is generally controlling the game, its the fact that the twists that are supposed to make up the summer of secrets are stupid things like a safe containing a PB and J pass, or a trip. BB could have done so much more, but has failed miserably in my opinion on keeping the show remotely interesting. This is a big disappointment of a season I think, and the secrets better pick up soon. But I'm just waiting for the moment where they say that the next secret is, "it isn't peanut butter and jelly, its peanut butter and artificial jam flavoring..."

I agree, Libs. They haven't had a food comp for three weeks -- this week making it four. The last time thye had an HoH comp was the last time Howie was HoH. Jen, April, and Beau were HoH after that -- and they won't be having a food comp this week either. So the PBnJ pass was ridiculous and put a target on Janelle for nothing because it was only valid and usable for one week.
Howie opened his HoH room and ... Master Replica (whatever that is) sent him two Star Wars light sabers (sp).. one that lights up blue, one that lights up red. He went crazy when he saw them, lol, like a little kid on Christmas.

Possible spoilers -
Some are speculating that there will not be an HOH competition tomorrow night. I don't know how that would work, whether we get another America's Choice and put two people up, or whether Howie will put up two more tomorrow night after the "live" eviction. The reason some are thinking this might happen is because A. when Howie said "Aw man, do I only get the HOH for one day?", Julie just politely chuckled, and went on with her "nominate two people" speech, and B. (this is the kicker) Julie made no mention of an HOH competition. Normally, it's "Don't miss the veto competition and ceremony, followed by the live eviction. And see who becomes the new HOH.", however, she said "Don't miss the veto competiton and veto ceremony, and find out who is evicted next from the Big Brother house". She made no mention of an HOH competition or a new HOH. I really don't know what's going to happen, but it would be nice if either of the two possibilities I mentioned came true, although I guess they may have a tough time explaining why Howie gets a full week during Double Eviction, and Janelle did not. Who knows? We'll have to wait and see (and really wait and see, if the feeds are nothing but fishies today).

Special Guest announcement -
More news, it seems that Holly from BB5 is hosting a game, presumably the POV competition. I take it she is the special guest Julie mentioned, and I can't help but wonder... why? Was Michelle from BB4 not available, or what? Oh well, she gets more airtime, since her time was cut short in BB5, thanks to the Four Horsemen minus Jase (I believe he voted to keep her).
And, as expected, I hear the feeds are out, and most likely it is until Saturday, due to a "plot twist". Don't know what that means, but we'll have to wait and see.

That's interesting. I didn't notice that, but if she didn't even mention it, something has got to be up. She always prepares us for what is coming up.
I would normally say it could just be that Howie gets until Tuesday this time, just so the outcasts aren't screwed again and get the shorter part of the double eviction week. Then the eviction and HOH comp. happens on tuesday, and then the second eviction on thursday with the new HOH. But even that doesn't work if we're following what Julie said. Did Julie say specifically say that this stuff is happening on saturday? Did she say "Don't miss our live episode saturday..." and so on? She simply missed out on saying "and see who becomes the new HOH"?
If it does mean something though, I could only see it being that Howie gets HOH for the full eviction week, or we get to choose who goes up for the second part of the week.
It could just be that she just didn't mention it, and it means nothing. And her response to Howie with a chuckle and moving on was simply because she didn't want to waste time having to answer Howie.
It's still suspicious none the less. Has Julie EVER forgotten to mention something that is coming up in the next show? Like Mr. X said, she mentions it all, from the POV to the new HOH. I hope something is up.
PEACE, Mike.

Response to MikeQ.
I have all the episodes taped (I love watching the show when it's over again, don't know why), and I went back to the episode. She mentions the POV and the eviction for Saturday. No mention of HOH. Sure, she could have forgotten it, but doesn't she read this stuff off a teleprompter, or memorize it off a cue card? I just don't see her forgetting, you know? I don't see her forgetting, but I don't want to get my hopes up that something really great will happen, either. We'll wait and see, I suppose. No feeds till after tomorrow's show, so we'll have to wait till then.

Don't get your hopes up. Big Brother made an announcement that there will be a new HoH. Last night, April and Maggie were thinking the same thing, and Maggie kept saying how when Janelle won, Julie told her she would only reign for 48 hours before a new HoH was crowned and they never said that to Howie. Ivette was saying how she is 90% sure Howie gets to nominate someone else again. Then in the middle of their convo, we got fish for a few minutes, and when the feeds came back, April was saying, "Thank God it's only 24 hours.. we just have to beat her (Janelle) in HoH tomorrow." And then Maggie was agreeing and they went on to say how they need to study for the competition because it'll be question and answer. So I donno if its a new comp, or Americas choice or what.. but there will be a new one, according to what the HGs got told by BB.
