 After the Sunset predictions I think the trailer is great for this film. I believe it will be yet another sleeper hit for New Line (how many have they had?). The release date signals to me that they have confidence in it. Plus, it's directed by Brett Ratner, who isn't unfamiliar to BO success. With good marketing I can see an opening near 20m. Thanksgiving will certainly help the legs.

It really depends on how good the movie is, but I do think the trailer really makes the movie look like a good one, so I'm thinking Thomas Crown type totals.

Funnily, one of the best reviwers I know, James Berardinelli gave it its only FRESH review so far...

It shouls open under 15 mil. I'm disappointed in the marketing for this film. It hasn't been very strong or very good for that matter.
I'll see it just for Salma though.

its actually a good movie, its a shame it wont get any screens since every theatre has Incredibles and Polar on 4 or 5 each...

That was my prediction for all the games, but now I'm feeling a higher opening. It somewhat reminds me of Matchstick Men, but it's not as weird. Here's Matchstick Men's opening for reference:
