Weird that it's working much better for me at home than at work. I'm using Firefox both places. I just got home, and all seem fine, but at work, each page can't complete loading after the first 10 or 12 posts. For example, I wanted to check what Lecter said in one of the threads, and I just couldn't get it to load until now.

I have not had any problems at all. Hope this gets worked out soon. It has been a bit slow for the past couple days because of it.

@lovemerox
Uh...good question. I think it might have something to do with what Eagle said. That one of the routers the people go through has not updated its DNS...I hope they update it more often than once a year
This error messages just keep coming and it is very frustrating I hope it will be somehow worked out soon

Eagle, bABA, can you please do me a favour?
Need you to change my settings for posts per page. In most of the threads, I get a error at around 12th post, and can't see anything above it.
So, would be nice if you could change that...10-12 posts per page, now is 30 I think.
Thanks!
Prolly wont see a reply unless you get the thread to second page.

Well,
I don't have a problem loading, so I can get to the second page.
However, if this continues throughout today and into tomorrow, what I can try as a temp solution is to take off the 30 second max timeout and change the code to 0 so that you wont get those errors.
It will take a long time to load, but you wont get the error anymore. I am still hopeful that it will go away ... but with every passing second that seems less likly.

Maybe you can take it off for some time, Karl, it is not getting any better.

I live in the U.S. and I'm getting the 30 second error still.
It took me several tries to get here today as well. I kept getting server errors. Next time I get them I'll post what they say.

I have been trying to find out the source of the problem now for 2 days.
I have no idea what is going on. My host has no idea what is going on. I am totally at a loss of what to do.
I will try re-uploading the site tomorrow (not the forums but the site itself)
I really don't know what is going on here. Sometimes the site works completly fine on certain connections, other times there are serious connectivity issues.
It seems that the faster your connection the safer you are ... which makes sense because it is some kind of connectivity issue.
I am working on it, just cross your fingers.

KJ, the site works wonderful. Fast and with no errors.
Though it was worth mentioning.

Finally, after struggling with this the whole day, the forums seem to work reasonably fine.

One new glitch I've had is after posting a message, it always takes you to that page where you can choose to go to the thread and see your post or to go to the forum page. But lately half the time it just automatically goes to my post and doesn't give me a choice.

@Archie
It has actually always been (somewhat) like that. You get the options of seeing your post or going back to the forums, BUT if you don't decide within 5 seconds, it takes you automatically to your post.
Doesn't bother me, though.

Ahh I see. Yeah doesn't bother me either if it's meant to be like that.

Same here.
However, the posting still gets through normally and is posted even despite this message.

Same ehre. The first time it happened I tried like eight times. The piast went through eight times. Really a pain. But I ignore it now. It's happened maybe three times in the past day.

I got those a few times last night. But, as long as the post gets through, I don't really care.

Woo Hoo!! I like getting mail.
Anyhow, have you ever thought of charging bABA to use the site? I think that would be a good idea. You and I could split the money we take from him (it was my idea).

Baba and me have a deal worked out.
He gets to browse the site and be an admin.
I get his soul.
Seems to be working out so far.
