Mississippi Burning- 10/10 One of my top 25 films of all time.
Legally Blond- 9/10- a lot of fun
Good Will Hunting- 10/10 watched this pn A&E with all the "bad words" cut out...very amusing
Wedding Crashers- 8.5/10- very very funny and very well written and Rachel McAdams is so cute.

A lot of it really offended me, so I turned it off after about 25 minutes. It just relied on stupid inappropiate humor. Woah, wha? What offended you? Y'know it's lampooning what people thought of women back then, not endorsing it right?
Most of the jokes were sexual and not needed. The only slightly amusing thing in the movie was Steve Carrell, but even that was stupid.

THE PERFECT MAN - 7/10 (B)
I actually really liked this one, it was really cute and parts of it were even pretty sad. Again, Hilary Duff is a terrible actress but some scenes of the film are hilarious, it can be overlooked. Heather Locklear was GREAT! I was really surprised. I'll definetely be buying this on dvd, I'm sure it has amazing rewatch value.

You're right. I should be ashamed to put it on the same level as Get Carter, Driven, and Rocky V. My mistake.

Sounds likes to me that the jokse went over your head then man, and it makes sense because the movie isn't everyone's cup of tea. But c'mon, it's not like it's supposed to be a family movie, the sexual jokes were part of the whole point of the humor. Are ya sure that part of your thinking it was stupid inappropriate humor wasn't that a parent was watching and felt that way? That happened to me when I was a few years younger, my aunt would turn off a movie because of how crude it was and I'd feel the same way, but when I saw it on my own I loved it.

The Wedding Crashers- A+++++
I loved it! Soo funny! I like the Vince, Owen duo better than the Ben, Owen duo. Clearly the best Frat Pack movie.

A Very Long Engagement - B+
While I enjoyed Amelie more (I gave both the same grade though) this is a very well made and beautiful film. Tautou is just as good here as well.
Dear Frankie - A-
Wonderful.
The Machinist - B-
Despite the twist being way overused, it was handled better than Secret Window... Christian Bale's performance made this worth watching.

Superman - B+
i love this movie, i'm not giving it an A just because the effects are a little old, but i enjoy it, the way it is. And John Williams gives this movie such power, Superman theme is one of the best John Williams moments in movie history.

THE WEDDING CRASHERS - 8/10 (A-)
Very funny film and in the end, it really has a heart. This is a movie that really had me laughing out loud and I normally don't, sometimes I'll giggle. There were some parts in the film that just made me crack up. One part was where Rachel McAdams mother put her elbow on the table and it just slipped off, thats the humor I find funny and the film was filled with that kind of humor. Also, about people thinking it's homophobic, it's not. The mother, I guess is a little homophobic. There isn't anything bashing gay people though and honestly, it's probably one of the funniest parts of the whole movie. I definetely recommend THE WEDDING CRASHERS! One of 2005 funniest films!

Charlie & The Chocolate Factory- A
Absoutely amazing. Johnny Deep gave a fantastic performance, the visuals were gorgeous. I found the child actors to be quite impressive. The musical numbers were funny, and entertaining. I thought the score was beautiful, and the whole backstory to Willy Wonka was brilliant, and done well. Definitely one of favorites of the year, and better than the original in my opinion.
