I think we have enough American interest here that a well coordinated attack would severly mess things up. Our downtown core of Toronto is ripe with American interest and with our lax security here, I am honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet.
What do you guys think? Well, there really isn't any need to attack Canada, because America is so close. If they would be planning this, why not strike south of the border, even in places like Buffalo? Also, I mean, NYC is not very far from Toronto, and neither is Chicago. They would be much bigger targets. The thing is, those attacks need "hype", and attacking a Canadian city isn't quite the same as attacking an American one. I know that sounds somewhat inappropriate to say, but this is one time where I'm glad Canada is bland and can easily blend in with the background. Btw, did anyone else notice how Martin was cut out of the video during Blair's conference speech when all the leaders stood behind him?
I hope you're right about that but ironically, when I got home from work tonight, my wife said that in a letter written by Al Quada they mentioned Canada as a possible target due to our lax security and our American infrastructure here. It wouldn't surprise me to see Toronto or Vancouver attacked. Lots of American interest here.

Well, there are 40 terrorist groups operating in Canada. What the hell this gov't is doing to track them, that I don't know.
I have to be honest with you: this is the first time that I've seriously considered the possibility of Toronto being hit since September 11, 2001. It might have to do with the fact that it is London, and we are pretty close to Britain here in Canada.
But this is such a great city. Why would anyone want hurt us?
But then again, that's true of New York, Madrid, London...

Well, you are way too smart and much too astute to believe that because we are "nice" that no one would want to attack us.

Not because we are "nice", it's because "who the fuck cares about canada?"

Random Terrorists: Hey... hey Canada? Would you hold this for us? It's just a ticking bomb that could go off at any minute. We'll be right back, we just need to... umm... go way the hell over there!
Canada: I don't know... this is a ticking bomb... won't we get hurt?
Random Terrorists: You might, yes... but, you know, if it's too much of a bother for you to hold it.
Canada: No no no... I didn't say that...
Random Terrorists: Look, we can carry it ourselves... it's just a bit heavy, and we'll be carrying groceries, but you know... I guess we'll have to. Goodbye...
Canada: No no, here. I'll hold it, don't worry. I'm just glad I can help.

I am a little surprised that we haven't had a terrorist attack yet.it will be a huge shock to our people if it ever happens because we are not used to that kind of shit here.We are a peaceful people and most of the world loves us. =D> \:D/
