A Poker Addiction.

I am a damn fine LIVE Poker player ... online ... not so much.

I lost 200$ in my last go round, about a month ago. Much like touching a hot stove, it makes you think an extra second before putting your hand back down to get burned again.

Well that second is up, and another 200$ just went in :razz:

I am up 25$ in my current adventure .... so 25 down ... 1175 to go.

I played poker with my friends last night.

I lost 15 straight games.....

Lucklilly, they were only 1$ games.

most i've lost is $50 bucks playing with friends.
most i've won is $80 bucks.

haven't played with the guys in months.
i used to play alot online but not for money. it was just fun playing.

texas hold-em is all i play.

These online hands are $200 a pop? And to think I felt all guilty about paying the extra quarter for organic.

When I was in Vegas, I tried -- tried -- to lose money on the video slot machines and just couldn't do it. I said -- lawks, this is ridiculous. It's like playing Diablo I except I have to put in a nickel every time I hit the "fire" button.
A few months ago I ripped torrino for a $3.50 Starbucks.

No there not 200$ a pop ... rather I put 200$ into my account to gamble with .. the hands can be anywhere from 10 cents to 50$ a pop.

I have played a few 500$ heads up matches before as well. Those were fun, I am 1 -1 in them ... winning is a hoot ... loosing ... not so much. Things get broken.

My dad is also addicted to those poker games.

I always wonder how you can trust these sites, especially when many of them are in some offshore place where you couldn't even sue them if you found out they were crooked.

We all have an addiction of somekind. I, for one, cannot stop wanking.

It's probably a trust system, like with eBay. You can't really trust them, but these sites need paying customers to make money, and the best way to keep is to maintain a good reputation.

Oh, and i'm addicted to eBay too.

I play poker and I lost some and won some. Lost around $75 but won $1000. Its pretty fun either way.

All of these sites are shady, almost all of them are also into online pornography (and other things).

My friend works in the web-banner/pop-up industry... she knows them.

The two biggest moneymakers in the world (besides drugs) - gambling and porn.
