So I was talking to this guy at RT and he told me the banning of BKB, Maverick and Baumer at BOM was no mere coincident. It was an elaborate, and well thought out plan. Apparently, BKB, Maverikk and Baumer (the so-called Unholy Trinity as someone puts it) was getting too popular for their own good. The admin, I was told, was getting uncomfortable and felt that they are taking over the forum. So a plan was devised to be rid of the three of them.

Baumer, the last of the trio, was finally forced out a couple of weeks ago. He was humiliated, ostracized and every one of his thread he created in the last week of his demise was either locked or ignored. I feel sorry for the poor guy. Anyway, here is his farewell speech if you missed it.

I wouldn't believe the guy from RT. BKB and Mav were banned months apart for totally different reasons, and I'm not sure that Baumer was actually banned at all.

But that hardly matters now. They are all welcome here.

Those creeps at BOM definitely have an agenda, so I'm not surprised. They're a bunch of RW nutjobs, for sure. You can tell by the way they review films.

What was really sad to watch was the way some of you sucked up to them most of the time.

It seems silly and unbelievable to me, I don't buy it at all.

And anyway if BOM was going to ban people just on popularity, baba, MikeQ, Mike Ventrella and dolce probably would have been the first 4 to go.

Well first of all, Sean Salsbury can lick my Balls and whether he likes it or not, I was one of the BEST Goddamn things to happen at that once great website that's now been reduced to the ashes of crap and chicken shit conspiracies and it's damn near as bad as Rotten Tomatoes recently Banning me because as RT Mark(The MOD over there) would put it: "It was a long time coming"... Can you believe that's the reason I was Banned from RT is because of quote: "It was a long time coming"??? I never posted any Porno pics like the users over there do and if the worst thing I ever did was get under posters skins because of my love for certain movies that apparently went against the grain of popular opinion over there, then fuck em.. Just like Box Office Mojo and just like RT, there all a bunch of goddamn suckup hypocrites and it's their loss.. It pisses me off that these damn posters including "The Incredible Gumbi" who used to post at BOM under the name of "Ripley", get to stay at that site without any lick of contribution whatsoever to the subject of films and a living made off of following me from thread to thread, post to post, stalking me like some fucked up crazed fan.. Funny how he's neevr been Banned for that now isn't it??? At the end of the day however, I have marked my date for my inevitable Return to Rotten Tomatoes to begin very soon and all this IP Banning me is the biggest bunch of Dogshit I've ever witnessed in my life.. Sorry Archie, but with all due respect to those guys, nobody's threads got more hits and replies than the 3 of ours did, and we were very active in all the forums, and didn't just reply to threads, but started them. Not to toot mine or baumer's or BKB's horn, but we did get quite a bit of notice when we posted something. More than the people mentioned. Always recognized in the poster awards as well.

Do I believe it to be true? Yes and no. I know things concerning my banning that others don't know, but only think they do. There was more to it than what happened in front of your eyes between Sean and myself. I also know that I was told by baumer when I was banned, that Sean wanted to ban him. BKB gave him an excuse to ban him that couldn't be disputed. There is no denying, no matter what anybody's own personal feelings are, that the so called "unholy trinity" at BOM could take over any aspect of those forums anytime we wanted to. We did it all the time, whether it was in the derby forum, real life, fan fics, oscars, speakeasy, etc... Sean was never comfortable with that, especially when he got word that we were involved in a website.

Although I think sean is an ass, I think the "unholy trinity" and him wanting to ban those 3 bc he was afraid of their popularity is a bit of a stretch. Also, mav baba and dolce were VERY popular at BOM. Especially baba, since he was more active before dolce was.


But who knows...only thing that matters is, is that this forum is blooming and BOM's forum is basically dead

Dolce didn't post there when I was there. She wasn't active at all. If she was, I would have hit on her.

Remember, I was banned in like April, not October. That's 6 months that I vanished from the net life. Life didn't begin at those forums when baba, or dolce became active, and neither was a force in the derby forum. You also have to understand, that dolce and baba are "nice guys". I used to be one, but turned to the dark side and liked it better. 8) BKB or baumer or myself were "threats" because of our "I don't give a shit, and I'll say what's on my mind no matter who likes it" attitudes.

Also, as I said, I know why I was banned for real, you don't.

hmmm, very regularly around Jan...perhaps a BIT before. But really started heating up towards summer and the start of school. It was also when makeshift, dolce and others started posting alot in the real life forum

That explains much. I was just a memory when you came into your own at the forums, and I really had no presence, other than mentions here and there. I didn't go back like others did, I retired. BKB went to RT, and completely dominated those forums single handedly. baumer started posting less, and his heart wasn't really in it like it used to be. This is true though, and I'm not making it up. The three of us could and did dominate whatever forum we wanted to, anytime we wanted to. Fett couldn't handle when I would do that.

You would definitely have to put Apocalypse's comments in the context of the first quarter of the year, and not in the context of when Sean pissed everybody off once again. It doesn't mean that the forums would die without us, that's just silly. The forums are made up of many many people, not just a handful.

I'd like for baumer to tell you what he thinks about it. He knows more than he's told too. :wink:
