Hmmm, you'd think I would have an easy time writing up what I need to say.

Basically I'm pretty disgusted with him and his ":(" thread I think has just taken his "spam" to a new level. Shouldn't he at least get some kind of warning? Of almost 400 posts I think there are probably, if any, a couple of posts where what he had to say wasn't just a waste of space. I wouldn't mind it as much if also weren't so annoying, unnecessary, if he didn't feel the need to post every odd/irrelevant news story out there, and in the case of the aforementioned thread...sick.

And while I can't prove anything I have a pretty good feeling he's also the person subscribing to all the threads, leading to everybody else getting an error message when they post in them.

I've also always thought he was a double account, though that might be equally hard to prove. But just based on what I posted that can be proved I think he should at the very least get some kind of warning. Though, since I'm going with my intuition so much here, I have a feeling it wouldn't do much.

If anyone in the admin/mod group baBA would be imtim. He always loved imtim back on BOM because of his...eccentricities. And ti seems the imtim as of late just seems FAR too fake to be real.

Plus the fact that he's never on AIM (he used to IM me constantly when we were back at BOM).

He;s no one's double account. Lets think about the movies he even randomly suggests. Can you think of anyone else on the site (or that goes back to 2002 at BOM) that he's seen and discusses these types of movies? Nope.

Firthermore, the fact that he brings up these titles, even in a half-ass way, means he's more intelligent or exposed to outside material than he lets on.

He just comes on here and acts like a simpleton to ryle (sp?) people up. He's laughing about it right now.

IMO, lock or move his threads to their appropriate forum. Ignore them if you don't like them, post in them if you have something to say about the movie (as usually two other people might have seen one of the titles he suggests). Don't bother even opening his water cooler ones and let mods deal with any of the ones they consider are spam or out of hand.

He's having a brilliant laugh at all this.

Re: imtim. It's clear that, whether joking or not, he's dragging down pretty much everything around him. For the health of the board in general he should be banned or punished. I agree with dolce. It's a put on, but it doesn't mean it is particularly clever of him.

My personal opinions is, as administrators of this free web board that you pay the fees for hosting, you have every right to take action when something is negatively effecting the site and doing something about it even if he skirts around some of the rules. There is more than enough evidence and justification from the board at large to take unilateral action against imtim without threat of reprisal from anybody on these boards the way I see it.
