ive seen a lot more of High Tension than Smiths Mainly due to the fact that High Tension is really going to have to work for its audience. I'd be there Friday but 1) I ruined the ending for myself and 2) I won't have time... sad.
Well do you plan on seeing it Saturday or Sunday at all? It would be dumb to not even see it at all just because you know the ending.

I'm liking the predictions from BOX OFFICE GURU for HIGH TENSION....$6,000,000 would be very solid. Coming Soon's isn't too bad either $4M-$5M.
HIGH TENSION looks like it will gross between $3M-$6M this weekend.

I say there's no way it will do less than 4 Million this weekend.
And it would be great if it could make Box Office Guru's prediction.

I'll be the first to say that THE HONEYMOONERS, MR. AND MRS. SMITH, SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL will all be forgotten about and everyone will see HIGH TENSION
HIGH TENSION Opening Weekend - $103.8 million

Ooh, you're clever jb  .
Anyway, I've decided to raise my prediction of MR. AND MRS. SMITH to 35.7 Million and lower my SHARK BOY prediction to 20.9 Million. I sure hope I'm more accurate with these revised predictions or I'll end up kicking myself in the ass for changing them.

*sigh* I have to make my final predictions for next weekend on this Sunday for I shall be gone Monday thru Friday. Luckily I have someone putting my numbers up so I don't lose ground on all the charts though. It will be interesting to see how I do without seeing the previous weekend's actuals...

Looks like I'm going lower on Sharkboy than anyone else. I really, really feel like it's going to bomb.

torrino is predicting 10, I'm right around there, and Lee is under 10, so you have company.

Almost, I predicted very low myself. I don't see the PTA any higher than $4000, like some of of the other average buzz kids movies.

Racing Stripes was getting mostly 2 screens, while Sharkboy is getting mostly 1's. Very little buzz.

I could really see Shark Boy and Lava Girl making 10 million this weekend, or just reallly busting out with 20-25 million. Remember how much Spy Kids 3D shocked us all? There were tons of predictions under 15 million, and no one thought it could be second or third for the weekend, let alone #1.
