\:D/ If RotS manages to hit $400m I'd think it would be the slowest to do so (for original releases, obviously ANH and E.T. took longer).
Yeah, most likely. It definitely can't take that record, but it's wishful thinking. [-o<

Totals After Day 18
Very good hold. Tomorrow, Shrek 2 will pass Sith and never look back again. It has a $12m 19th day, so its total will be over $314m. Unless Sith gets $5.7m on Monday, which I highly doubt, Shrek 2 should find itself in the lead, with a good $125m or so left for it to gross.

Box, cells on excel are treated like indents instead of just one space. It's better to use the chart feature now with Krem's Excel2BB code.

New forum layout fault. It does that to all data from spreadsheets, had to delete most of the spaces manually for it to show how it was supposed.
Which is weird, as in preview of the post, it looked good.
Good thing we got tables now as feature. But with them there is another problem. Work good when the charts are relatively small, when big, they got cut off at some point. For one table had to use three posts.
EDIT: Ah, looks lovely.
And damned be that second part of mediocre movie.

Top 18th Days
For almost all films, the 18th day is a Monday, meaning generally small grosses. However, that is not the case for Wednesday and Thursday releases, for both it is either a Sunday, or a Saturday. Looking at the top films, the biggest numbers are indeed from Wednesday releases. Shrek 2's 18th day, like TPM's and The Passion's, refers to its third Saturday.
Sith has the biggest 18th Day for a non-Wednesday Opener. In other words: Sith has the biggest 18th Day that is not a Saturday.
