Florida's Computers Have Already Counted Thousands of Votes for George W. Bush

Before one vote was cast in early voting this week in Florida, the new touch-screen computer voting machines of Florida started out with a several-thousand vote lead for George W. Bush. That is, the mechanics of the new digital democracy boxes "spoil" votes at a predictably high rate in African-American precincts, effectively voiding enough votes cast for John Kerry to in a tight race, keep the White House safe from the will of the voters.

Sounds exactly the same as the headline about Philadelphia, only in reverse.

Commondreams is not realiable anyway.

If Kerry wins, what will the democrats complain about for the next 4 years?

Um, hah. The Democrats have mostly been complaining because of Bush.

That is exactly the reason why I asked this question. It lies in nature of people to complain about politicians and political situations all the time, so I am wondering what the democtras will be complaining about if Kerry wins and there won't be a Bush to hate

We might as well give up on florida. i've been saying all along it is not a swing state on way or the other (legally or illegally that is). Its going to Bush, I had minimal doubt in my mind since Charlie touched shore. And that was quite some time ago.

This is the race of the Lakes region I think.

Wouldn't it be funny if it came down to New Mexico though?

Good grief, did you not live through the Clinton years? The republicans never stopped griping! They tried everything they could to get rid of him, bitched about him at every opportunity, accused him and his wife of every crime under the sun, and then tried to impeach the guy after he lied about sex during a deposition that wasn't anyone's friggin' business in the irst place.

They then went to court to stop votes from being counted, and staged a recall so they could put their man Schwarzenegger in, all of which led Bill Mahr to observe "Republicans will do anything it takes to win except get the most votes."

Christ Almighty, the Republicans never shut up for eight years, and this was with peace, a great economy, and a balanced budget. Bush then got appointed President, alienated our allies, ran us into huge debt, and divided the country to the point where we are now. Were we Democrats supposed to just shut up while we saw what he was doing to the America we love?

For Republicans to state that Democrats complain too much is the height of hypocracy.

NOT THE NEW MEXICANS! They already have the fact of being new mexico to bear upon themselves! It would just create mass suicide if they had to decide it all.

Post Democrats are criminals
Well, prior to the election, there were a half dozen incidents in which Republican Party headquarters around the country were vandalized and robbed.
Apparently, the Democratic Party draws the highest class of citizen. As these two incidents on election eve show:

Slashed Tires in Milwaukee

About 30 rented cars and vans that were to be used in the Wisconsin Republican Party's get-out-the-vote effort had their tires slashed Tuesday morning, FOX News has learned, and the GOP condemned the act.

State Republican Party spokesman Chris Lato said the slashed tires "clearly were targeted sabotage" to hinder the party's work.

Milwaukee police said just after noon on Tuesday that they had a description of the suspect in the case. A private security guard reported a man running from the lot where the tires were slashed, according to Police Sgt. Ken Harris.

Full story here:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,137323,00.html

And Fox News Channel also reported that a Republican Party office in Philadelphia was sprayed with graffitti overnight.

Gotta love those democrats ... no wonder they want felons to have the right to vote. They act like felons.

Hey C'mon now. You're not going to judge an entire 1/2 the country on a couple punks that pulled late Halloween pranks. I don't think every Republican is a criminal, and have made a point of seperating the the couple hundred members going to court in Ohio etc from, oh lets say, KJ members. Did I associate them with you, or Chris, or Krem, or Eagle? No. I really don't appreciate you saying I, and many others, act like Felons. Until now we've all conducted ourselves very maturely on these threads I believe. :?

Oh ye of little faith. Did you know that 30% of all registered florida voters already voted before today? And that the exit polls of them showed a 9 point pro Kerry margin? So Bush has to decisively win Florida among those who voted today to eek out a win once you count in the absentee/early votes.

I think it's more than just afraid of change. The general opinion is Bush is better for the stock market than Kerry since he is more pro-business. Still pulling for Kerry though even if it means my stock wealth will continue to deterioate.

With Kerry and a GOP congress, I'd actually expect the stock market to go up.

Still, it's the least of my worrites in thsi election.

That reminds me of when glasnost broke out and the USSR was going down the tubes and the USSR foreign minister said that they were going to do something terrible to the US: they were going to rob you of having an enemy.

It's sad, they made a good enemy, but it's best with them gone.

Similar to how Dems will feel about Bush.

I'm keeping up with the evil empire theme, consistency and all.

Guys!!!

Don't worry about the exit polls, they are meaningless.

All the people voting for bush are still at work, while all the homeless and unemployed who are voting for kerry literally have nothing better to do!

College students who vote also tend to vote early.

From the spin master, I am signing off.

By thi slogic, we should all root for Kerry - cause that will definitely perpetuate the threat of Islamic terrorism :-P
