I liked Alfie. The style was really neat, and once again, Jude Law shined. The supporting cast was all good (especially Omar Epps), but many weren't given much to do. It's not that great, but it's also not half bad. Some of the things in the film were somewhat pretensious, but I also could identify with some of the relationship issues the movie talked about (especially the "uh-oh" moment.).The ending is very sobering, but it also felt very real. I guess I can see why it didn't do great buisness, but I do think it's somewhat under-rated. Overall, I'd give the movie a solid B.

This was a movie that I think I kind of liked and kind of hated, as I was walking out of the theater. But shortly after that, as I thought about it, I realized that I liked the film a lot. I think it's a kind of movie that didn't really have an audience, which is a shame because it was an all around good film.

Yeah, it was pretty enjoyable but not much more. Jude Law was the best part of this film, he was very solid here. The female cast was forgettable, mainly because of the parts they had. B/B-

A bit bittersweet. Jude Law is more than solid...GREAT.
Fun, and pretty memorable despite it's flaws.

Jude Law gives a great performance in this winning romantic dramedy.

Wonderfully acted, and the approach taken on the narrative is interesting. Jude Law has really given some great performances last year (Alfie, I Heart Huckabees, Closer, and even Sky Captain). I haven't seen the original with Michael Caine, although I was very impressed with this one.

I surprised a lot of people liked it. I thought that it was very boring and dull. It wasn't a good romantic movie. By the end, I hated the narrating part of the movie.
