*sigh* Once again, you just can't use the same % because of the different ratios on the opening day of the midnight showings. You just can't.

LOL, it went from 46 million and people being concerned it would not make 150 let alone 100 during the weekend to being boosted to 50 and now everything's back in play. WOOT
Absolutely Fantastic for ROTS, SW and Hollywood in general. GL has saved the summer.

I think percentage wise it will do better then The Matrix Reloaded. Remember The Matrix Reloaded was R rated which restricted those under 17, but Revenge of the Sith is PG-13.

As many have said, the midnight showings and Thursdays shows were actually made up of kids.
And anyways, this was a weird cultural thing that happened. It was suddenly "the thing" to do to go and see it on midnight. News stations and general public attitude acted like this was the first time ever for there to be midnight shows. All it's going to do is cause frontloadedness.

You underestimate the Star Wars fanbase.

Oh c'mon. I don't deny that there are probably kids the midnight shows, but do you really think that the majority of the kids who plan to see this movie were there? I highly doubt it. I see no reason why Sith will have worse legs than Reloaded.
None.

No, I probably couldn't. I just don't like that everyone is saying "Oh, it's a lock for $100 million 3-day, $150 million 4-Day, $350+ domestic, $1 trillion galaxian... blah blah blah." It makes me sick!

You're probably right. I could see it making $300 million now, but I just don't think it's an absolute 100% guarantee.

But it is a lock for 1 Trillion Galaxian! Actually already is there, as 1 Trillion Galaxian is just $13.

Zingaling, you are aware that your signature picture has its words a little twisted.. I know it's Yoda but I don't think it's worded right.

I just don't like that everyone is saying "Oh, it's a lock for $100 million 3-day, $150 million 4-Day, $350+ domestic, $1 trillion galaxian... blah blah blah." It makes me sick!
Seriously Man, what's your problem?? This thing shattered records and you should be happy.. 50 Million in 1 day pretty much tells me a 150 Million weekend bringing it to close to 200 Million and on top of that, you still have Memorial Day Weekend....
