The Empire Strikes Back - 209/10

My third favorite in the trilogy. Star Wars gets a 307/10, Phantom Menace gets 250 while Attack of the Clones gets 160 and Return of the Jedi gets a 160 as well.

SIX FEET UNDER: SEASON 3/DISC 1/EPISODE 1 - 5/10 (C-)

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! This episode was so bad! The worst SIX FEET UNDER episode ever! At least that I've seen. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! They should have just picked up where season two ended, with the family at the hospital and we could have found out that Nate made it through the surgery alright. But instead it skips ahead into the freakin' future and you feel so damn cheated and everything just feels so wrong! I kept hoping this all wasn't really happening or something and by the end we'd be taken back to the hospital the day of the surgery. Sure it would have made this episode pretty pointless, but at least the rest would likely be good/great. It's hard to get into it when it just jumps so far ahead. It didn't feel real. It was so odd. I couldn't even start the second episode right away because I was so pissed and had to rant about it first. The whole time I watched this episode I was pissed. Ugh! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?! WHY DID THEY DO THIS?!?! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

Sure, Peter Krause is still incredibly sexy and I love his character Nate (he's such a good brother), plus the baby was cute, but the jump ahead did not feel natural at all and totally freakin' ruined things. I'm so angry! I wish I could go back to season 2, which was so great, and forget this nightmare ever happened! For me it was like when you have a dream that you see something you're really anticipating (pretty much always a movie) and it ends up being impossibly ridiculous, disappointing, and highly unlike you thought it was going to be, then you wake up and are relieved it was just a dream and that you still haven't seen the movie yet. Except this isn't a dream and the episode really was unlike I thought it would be. It's hard to believe it but this was impossibly disappointing!

I know my rating might seem easy on this episode, which is because I wasn't bored and did like certain moments of it, but on the "how much it pissed me off" scale it would get the lowest rating! WTF?! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm sorry but I can't believe this! I wish I was dreaming!

Some recent movies I've seen:

The Phantom of the Opera: N/A
It was so bad, I turned it off. Unbearable for me to watch a movie like this.

National Treasure: A
Still as great as my experience in theaters. Totally surprising film.

Team America: A
One of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my entire life. It's just fantastic.

In Good Company: B+
Another surprising film. I usually don't like romcoms, but this just hit all the right chords with me.

I watched the second episode of SIX FEET UNDER: SEASON 3. I waited until I calmed down though. I even rested a bit to do so. And not long after waking up I watched it, trying to see this one with an open mind even though the first episode pissed me off so bad and I was not happy having them just jump ahead in time. That being said, I enjoyed this episode. It was much better than the first one. Still nowhere near as great as the second season's episodes. I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much had I watched it right after watching the first episode. I definitely needed a break after that. Otherwise I know I wouldn't have liked this episode much either.

I'd give this one a 7/10 ( B ).

But I so hate Keith! I wish him and David weren't together. He really annoys me. And I hate Rico too.

Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith A

I've only given 30 films an A (including Empire Strikes Back, I have Star Wars and ROTJ an A-) but this movie was incredible beyond my expectations. Well done Mr. Lucas. =D>

MONSTER IN LAW - 5/10 (C-)
I didn't think the film looked too good but it had pretty good word of mouth so I went to see it. It was pretty stupid, even worse than MEET THE FOCKERS (though it got the same rating). Jennifer Lopez even sucked and I love her, as did Jane Fonda. Not seeing this one again.

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH - 9/10 (A-)
Entertaining to say the least. The crowd loved it, the even laughed at some of the dialogue in the film, which I really don't blame them doing but that's the worst part of the film. The last fourty or so minutes were absolutely amazing. The first half was a bit slow but it was to be expected. An amazing way to end a great story. I'll definetely see it again.

Today:

MONSTER-IN-LAW - 9/10 (A-)

I loved it! It was complete fun from beginning to end and I was laughing the whole way through. Wanda Sykes steals the show, but Jane Fonda is also hilarious and Jennifer Lopez is very charismatic and likable. It's pretty close to an 8/10 (A-) or 8/10 (B+) in terms of quality but it was just so much fun. Way underrated! It's the best comedy of the year so far. I'm glad it's doing well at the box office and has solid WOM.

Yesterday I saw:

STAR WARS: EPISODE III - 7/10 ( B )

Finally! One of these films was actually solid!
