Good bang for Raymond; certainly its not Friends, but Raymond was never the cultural supernova that Friends was.

I'm more surprised by Two and a Half Men than Raymond. This could pull in some major ratings next season. I should start watching.

It's a hilarious show, I think. Monday's episode may have been the funniest of the season, thanks mostly to Holland Taylor.

Squab. Usually I can't stand Jake, but when paired with Evelyn he can be funny, and Evelyn just rocks whatever she's doing.

You know, I've watched that a few times and thought it was pretty good, but Monday, when that kid was picking his nose and she told him not to wipe it on her furniture, I lost it.

I only see Two and Half Men Twice but the problem I have with that show is Charlie Sheen is just playing himself like he did on Spin City. Its a very unlikable character. He does so much better in movies where he plays a different character than himself

I don't think Charlie or Alan are all that likeable, but I don't think it really matters that much. I mean, the characters on Seinfeld were shallow, selfish and obnoxious, but that didn't make the show any hilarious.

Yes but the difference is they are shallow and selfish but they are also very flawed and not perfect. You can basically make fun of them like George Costanza being bald or Jerry being very compulsive. The Charlie Sheen character is almost jock like without any flaws you can poke fun of unless being egotistical is an easy trait to mock in society

The actual rating was a 20.2, up just a little bit, according to Zap2it.com. Also, it was the highest rating of the season for CBS and their higest rated episode of a sitcom since Murphy Brown's 1992 season premiere.
