Post Cast Your Vote...only if above 18
Ok, guys, this is just to see how close *World* resembles the national breakdown.

Please answer the poll only if you are of actual legal age and/or legal status of voting on Tuesday. If you want to voice your opinion but couldn't actually vote, please feel free to comment on it in the thread and say who you were going to vote for, etc. But please do not answer the poll unless you're casting a ballot on the second. So, that means, even if you could vote but didn't (I don't think there will be too many of those) don't answer the poll, just post comments. These can be one word answers, since its clear that the debate threads are more related to subject, etc.

You also don't need to post a reply it all, if you prefer to be anonymous, and just answer the poll. Also, you can answer the poll in anticipation of Tuesday if you are 100% sure who you are voting for, or if you did arly voting, so already know who you voted for.

I just don't know... I'm not a Bush fan at all, but I have actually hated Kerry more and more everyday, just because he looks so arrogant and smug, and tries to appear like a John Q. Public. But, I also don't have all the facts on any candidate, so it's not really fair for me to vote.

*sniffle*

Yeah, it's good to get a sample of votes from people who actually CAN/WILL vote.

So I'll stay out of it. :P

Plus, aren't you a canadian citizen? I meant for the poll to reflect actual voting trends tomorrow.

Oh yes, and I'm voting for Kerry.

Thanks for your imput though, that is exactly what I was hoping non-voters would do. Use this thread instead of the actual poll to voice their opinions.

Thanks

...And so I hope the 6 people who have voted in the poll so far are people who can actually vote.

You guys need to read threads, at least part of it more often before replying!

Sorry, a little pet peeve of mine :P

Again, I cannot vote (not because of my age...) but would agree with The Economist's endorsement for Kerry and against Bush... Pretty much spells out why Bush is not a good choice to get four more years...

http://www.economist.com/printedition/displayStory.cfm?Story_ID=3329802

For those of you not familiar with the Economist weekly, they usually go for Republicans, because of their business focus... I think they endorsed Bush in 2000 but were disapponted in his shift from a 'moderate' Republican to a 'conservative' and 'fiscally irresponsible' Republican...

To make it more real we can assign each forum section a certain amount of FV (forum votes), then have people manually vote (with a post, not a poll) in a section, but only in one section. Then tally up the FVs and see who wins the most.

Then sue each other over the results.

I was mad as hell last time when the courts decided in favor of Bush, but I came around to his side after 9-11, then he lead me astray with the war in Iraq. So I had no choice but to VOTE for change!!!!!

You know, I felt the same way. After 9/11 Bush calimed he'd get things right, he'd move the country ahead and so many promises, and well...it sounded nice.

I do understand that the same might be true with Kerry, since it's easy to make promises, but not as easy to keep them...or sometimes you just realize that it's not as easy to do as you might have thought (not that that's any excuse, you're voting for the person who you think is the most capable here, not the one with the best intentions, necessarily).

So yeah, now it's take a chance with Kerry and change, or four more years of the same. And if I could vote I'd take a chance on change.

I cannot vote as of this year... but if I was a year older I would vote for BUSH!

Why risk change? Especially since change only has a "plan" but fails to tell what his plan is.

Why continue with more of the same, when that obviously hasn't been working for the country.

Not working? The economy growing is "not working"? Bush took what Clinton left... which is hardly anything, and now our economy is growing. Who cares about a war that I agree with and some people don't agree with....

I think the presidency has the same concept as playing a video game. OK, lets see, while playing a video game, you usually start with no experience. But after a couple of hours, or 4 years in presidency terms, you start to get the hang of it and start kicking some ass. Lets say after a couple of hours your doing pretty good on your game and some kid comes up to you and asks if he could play... now, would you want your game to be played by this kid who has no experience at it to ruin your game that you just started doing good on? No, I mean, theres no way that after starting to do good you can screw up again like you did when you were starting.

I hope this kinda made sense... if not then... I just wasted your time :)

Clinton left "hardly anythinbg?" REally? That's news to me.

Just because the economy has grown by like 3% recently doesn't mean the country (and the economy itself for that matter) is in great shape. There are many things you also have to take into account.

You think the unemplyment rate is a sign that that things are working?

lol that's insane!!!!! and i hope you're kinda kidding :P

let me be president.

i mean i don't know crap about politics. i wouldn't even know where to begin to run the country properly.

i'm sure i'll fuck everything up the first four years as president. but if you stick with me, by the last few months of my second term I'm sure I'll get one or two things right. :)
