What a load of crap lmao. It's a shame they can't do better. I guess I'd go for E-Ring as it's bruckheimer and he always brings polish and style to productions. I can't stand Lake Bell and cheered when she was booted off Boston Legal.

Yeah, I think it looks weak too. That comedy sounds awful. The Amy Grant show sounds awful. Fathom looks OK to me, but I think it sounds like it should have been a TV movie then a whole series. Nothing here I'd go out of my way for. E-Ring will probably be the breakout, just because of Bruckheimer's reputation.
Too bad, because NBC needed a boost.

I like sea monsters so I'll give Fathom a look. Maybe E-Ring but only because of Bruckheimer.

Sounds like something FOX would put out.

Lake Bell is a she-MAN. Anyhow the premise for Fathom sounds interesting. I might check that out

I can't believe NBC stuck with Joey and Will & Grace on Thursdays.
Also, none of their new shows sound terribly interesting. The Jason Lee sitcom could be good, but I think NBC is going to have yet another slump next season.

Joey and Las Vegas should of been pulled from the schedule. Joey must of been sinking alot of their budget considering they probably pay Matt Leblanc over 1.5 million per episode and it produces ratings lower than a TGIF ABC sitcom.

Yes the winner would be the one who can get away with fraud without ending up in jail

That's not exactly true about Joey.
Also, why Las Vegas? That has remained one of NBC's few consistently solid shows the last two seasons, and is usually at least #2 in its time slot among adults 18-49.

Vegas' ratings are behind Medium's. I remember Vegas ratings where very good in its first season. They have died down so far in the 8.0 range, sort of average but not good or bad. Joey for a spinoff is doing crap when compared to Fraiser. Fraiser at least was in the top 10 for more than 3 seasons

Well, I didn't say Joey was doing well, but it's not nearly at TGIF territory.

Scrubs and Fear Factor have been held back till mid-season. Not a promising sign, although Fear Factor must be past the point where syndication is a lock anyway. As for Scrubs, I hope they don't kill it off completely. With Will and Grace done after this season, and the other four comedies nowhere NEAR locks to be renewed after this season (especially considering My Name is Earl is just brand new and anchoring Tuesday Nights, and The Office was losing what little audience Scrubs had), I really hope Scrubs can find a real home with a real audience. If not, NBC may need to do away with comedy altogether.
Law and Order: Trial by Jury is a bit of a shock. While four Law and Orders is about two, maybe three too many, it still was doing moderately well on Fridays. Two new dramas on Friday is almost certain death for NBC, me thinks.
On the plus side, another season of The Office! Great news.

I think that is a pretty bad schedule for NBC. I think they just guaranteed themselves 4th place next year.
I think they should have taken a clue from ABC. Make riskier but great shows.
Even though I've never watched a single episode of any of the LAw nd Orders, Trial by Jurys cancellation is a shock!
Fear Factor is already in syndication for those wh didn't know.
And I think Scrubs mid-season isn't a bad idea. It worked for 24 and sorta for ALIAS.
Can't wait till ABC's schedule tomorrow and WB's to see if they kept J&B or not.

It's heavily speculated that the WB has canceled Jack & Bobby.

The only one of those I'm interested in is Fathom, and for some reason I have a feeling it won't be much good.

The upfornt is disappointment. They have nothing to compete with NBC, ABC or even FOX. They need to make their new show all huge hits to be competitive. I like only the sound of Fathom, but that's it...

I could care less about this network. I watch nothing weekly on it. (except my dad watches The West Wing) I also sometimes catch an episode once and a while for The Apprentice and Will & Grace.

Well, at least my Scrubs is still there, partially.
And I'm actually really glad they're giving The Office another go.
