The ones I REALLY don't like is the ones that make you move the page over to see the whole thing. They're really annoying. It's not a huge problem at my house, only sometimes but at school it's terrible.

MG Casey, feel free to point out signatures (and names of the people) that you feel are taking up your screen. Also, do tell me what your screen resolution is. as my own resolution is quite high, i can't always judge how big an image might be.
Thanks again.
I was exaggerating when I said it took up my whole screen. It just feels thay way.
I just don't understand the point of having pictures in signatures. It's unnecessary. I just think that the avatar is the place for a picture.
Can someone tell me why they themself have pictures in their signature?

I completely agree. Spider-Man's is particularly frustrating to me, as if someone walks in while I'm surfing the site I have to be sure to scroll down past any posts by him/her/it. I don't have a problem necessarily, but I can't view the site in a public setting as it will bring up too many issues.
Mike's is also annoying, but using Mozilla FireFox I was able to block his image.

Actually, no. They are getting the right idea. The chances of someone walking in your room isn't likely at any part of the day, unless someone is REALLY nosey, and the chances of them walking into your room while you scroll past a picture of Elisha Cuthbert in Spider-Man's signature is even smaller... unless, of course, it's on your screen for a significant period of time, which would indicate that they are getting the absolute right idea, not the wrong one.

Well, in the situation with Elisha, I guess it's the right idea...
...but, when you have something like Snickety Snack 2's David Hasselhof avatar (yeah, that one...), it's the WRONG idea.

Oh oh oh, I beg to differ.

On the topic of pictures in signatures (sorry about that... I was one of the first to experiment with it back in October, although someone else was bound to do it first anyway), I have tried a few since I came here, up to the "Lost" sig I had a few weeks ago, which I tried making small enough so it wasn't all that noticable, but I've decided it'd be best to not go with any sig pics anymore. You're welcome.
