Mid 80s with that for HTTYD.
Probably close with between 250 and 275m domestic.

 Re: HTTYD weekend thread
So is 80/250/600ish (ww) enough for dreamworks to go all in on the remake train? Hopefully Shrek 5 does bonkers and makes them realize that sticking with animation is a better option.

Only problem is not enough ones with human characters other than if they hoped a live Bee Movie goes internet viral. I'd take my chances on Madagascar 4 over pure talking animal CGI.
Illumination can green light a live action Despicable Me or Minions any time they want and smash.

Hopefully Dragon gets closer to 95 than 85.
Good for materialists however WOM is apparently bad.

 Re: HTTYD weekend thread
I heard Materialists is more serious than people expecting romcom may have expected.

 Re: HTTYD weekend thread
Yes not quite a romcom which will certainly result in some form of backlash.

 Re: HTTYD weekend thread
Never seemed like a romcom to me. More a fifty shades knock off. What turned me off is the “pussy trap” plotline and I hate those movies. I think probably the only one I liked was Gone Girl

I think probably the only one I liked was Gone Girl Aint afraid of no Chicago gangsters but you too scared to steal this pussy? Great for Materialists even if it gets bad legs. Up until this week I was just naturally expecting a 3/10 type performance. A win for original films even on a weekend that kickstarts a whole new wave of remakes.
