Go Princess Mononoke.
I actually thought Unicorn was a fun watch but ya, isn't really for the general audience. I have not seen 1 trailer for that Statham movie weird.

Snow White has been given a reprieve. Still won't take advantage, lol

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
Another unfortunate weekend with Working Man less than half of Beekeeper's Thursday.
The "go to the theatre no matter what, then decide what to watch of the options" audience is clearly not in good shape at this point.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
3.7m second Friday for Snow White, sub 15m second weekend for 67%ish drop.
lol
Rachel Zegler can have a stage career but she ain’t getting any movies after this. Gadot is probably done too

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
$5M for Working Man seems pretty good. Statham is at last a consistent draw lol.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
A Working Man actually had a slightly better true Friday (4.5mil+1.1mil Thurs/5.6mil overall) than The Beekeeper (4.4mil+2.4mil Thurs/6.8mil overall). It'll crack 15mil if it follows The Beekeeper for the rest of the weekend, which seems pretty solid to me. I wouldn't say 16mil is out of the question, either.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
Nice for Working Man to come close to Beekeeper!
RIP Snow White.
With another one with the Weeknd coming up Ortega is like art house grinder era Pattinson trying to make enough weird stuff that it builds cred beyond teenage character actress. Hopefully she makes a movie where she gets naked to prove she’s an adult.

Honestly, very good for A Working Man. Beekeeper was inflated by a holiday, so coming so close to that is impressive.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
He seems to be worth a 15m opening at this point. Very few other actors are at this point. Even Leo is only a 20m opener at this point

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
Gal Gadot for evil queen when she's 0/3 on acting ability, singing history or playing villians before was such a miserable choice. She looks like the cartoon but if they're already ok with Zegler as lead who cares if it's a perfect match. There must have been someone like Blunt or Hathaway that are not only better actresses but have been in musicals that would've done this, or maybe something like Wright as evil Buttercup or Headey would be going all in on the villain history side. Or just giving it to Menzel could've been an inspired choice since I think the look fits.

And not only that, it was probably their most expensive choice too.

Snow White didn't drop as hard as I thought it would.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
After seeing Death of a Unicorn, I think this movie should have been a bigger hit. It's a very fun monster movie and there was no need for the marketing to be so "indie." Should have just leaned into the absurdity like Cocaine Bear, which opened over $20M.

I was about to say the same. I saw a trailer and it looked like a monster film and nothing like the quirky indie film depicted in the first trailer.

Re: DOAU/Working Man/Woman in Yard Weekend
With Wed's #'s, One of Them Days passed $50M. $11.8M OW and 4.24X multiplier is ultra impressive for this with a $14M budget. Think a sequel will definitely go up as more people discover it.
Dog Man is probably ending with about $98M without a push.
Dumbo's 13 day total was $79.9M from a $936,514 Wed (-60.7%). Snow White's tally is $70.7M (-59.2%) and a $850,951 Wed. If it follows Dumbo for the rest of its run it's headed for $101.6M. Given the monster arrival of Minecraft looks like that will be too much of a stretch. Dog Man should just clear it.

Yeah definitely had a trailer or tv spot (perhaps for the local release here) that made me think it was a creature feature i knew nothing of until i saw Henna Ortega and the rest of the cast. Wasted opportunity
