I think he might do the tariff but with "minor" stuff only

Hopefully I don't get screwed too bad after years of fake American-ing lol

I am also hoping it is a bluff. It seems like the logic here is to bully other countries like Canada and Mexico into giving America what Trump wants, but we shall see.

I shouldn’t have to essentially repeat myself that your opinion is essentially irrelevant.

I’m well aware that Trump is a symbol and symptom of America and what it represents: which is fundamentally, definitively, and absolutely unsustainable. A land of promises of counterproductive, cynical, complicit, irresponsible, corrupt, insidious, and superficial “progress”. So it’s not my suicide; it’s an American suicide. Your self-serving, self-righteous system tries to take advantage using unsustainable “success” as part of what can only be objectively judged to essentially be a ponzi or pyramid scheme. Your shortsighted exploitation is based on opportunistic pursuits of your limited perspective, assumptions, epistemology, and self-congratulatory point of view and experience. In irresponsibility you also always try to blame others for the consequences, results, and outcomes of your failures and negligence. The only truly rational or sane conclusion is that you have no sustainable options or future whatsoever. You should try to save yourself if you can rather than make it worse.

Also your opinion about weirdness is obviously subjective, arbitrary, and relative. You’re interested in your expectations, desires, taste, and feelings of differences, rather than any objective or potentially mathematically valid notion of beauty, harmony, grace, elegance, symmetry, or style.

Colombia agreed to take the migrants.

FYI, if you’re wondering. I’m not bluffing on the things I’ve said.

I don’t think Trump really bluffs either. But he does approach many things in life like real estate, and will compromise if it’s in his interests. Otherwise he won’t change his mind unless he has no choice, sees his strategy as unworkable, or no longer expects it to help him reach his goals.

He'll switch back as soon as his tariffs start having an impact on inflation.

RIP Department of Education.

But yeah, everythings fine, all that Project 2025 stuff was just fearmongering.

I mean you have to just focus on yourself right now. Life still continued for the average person under Nazi Germany and the Roman Empire. It was inevitable that America would turn to a dictatorship

Probably being a bit over dramatic. Realistically we are more likely going to be like modern Russia or Hungary. We will have the appearance of elections, but they will be wildly unfair for whoever the oligarchs want to win.

Helps to evenly distribute financial assists to states that have poorer education funding, mostly states in the south and create a universal standard of education. That way if a kid moves from a state with poor education like Mississippi to a state with higher quality education like New Jersey they won’t be hopelessly behind. It will basically allow students in states with bad education not fall desperately behind. Of course if you are rich and can afford private education then none of that matters and of course the people making these decisions are rich people.

I need the inevitable public breakup between Trump and Musk to accelerate faster because I cannot deal with Elmo hacking his way into the government and ruining everyone's lives.

Is there any evidence this department has actually done this? I constantly see it cited that educational outcomes have worsened since its introduction. Is that false?

They will ultimately lose this war, not because biased politics condemns them, but because objective, and uncaring reality will defeat politics.

“Dictator on Day One”, (which I took much more seriously than you guys, and much more seriously than “project 2025”), is not the same thing as “Project 2025”. He never disavowed his “Dictator” comments, and anyone who knows anything about history or current events knows that he won’t stop being a dictator the next day. Like I said, he’s going to do everything he can to force intelligence agencies, the FBI, the courts, the military, and election officials to do what he wants. This is far more serious than “Project 2025”, and always was. That’s what happening. You were underestimating the threat and distracting by talking about “Project 2025”. I wasn’t concerned about “Project 2025”. I was concerned about war.

No it won’t, because you’ve already been defeated much worse, and with much more finality than you think. Any Trump loss will just be a further loss for America. American “progress” has never been anything but suicidal. You represent the very problems you claim to fight against.

JD Vance will probably be the Republican candidate in 2028; he represents essentially a compromise between Musk’s or Trump’s politics. He’s part of the “PayPal mafia”, which could be considered to have more common with Trump generally than “the oligarchs”. They may each agree somewhat with the Wall Street Journal editorial board, but mostly in opposition to political influence in economics.

If you want to talk “bullshit”, your legacy, morality, and politics are complete “bullshit”.

Public school existed for over a century before the department of education

You could say something similar about essentially any institution.

I guess it is much easier to indoctrinate people into your cult if they don't get a proper education. Insane that we've got here. Guess the teachings of Jesus don't really fit with modern Christians and thus they had to find a new messiah. "Hate thy neighbor."

The Department of Education isn’t going anywhere as Congress would need 60% vote to support its dismantling. Which won’t happen in today’s climate. Of course unless by the next midterms you have a Russian style election where Trump and Musk predetermine the winners in key races
