It's upto you. I'm sure this thread can manage the weight of talk about both.
I think I prefer an excellent score to an excellent soundtrack.

It's too tough for me to decide. I love both equally.

Can't stop playing: Masked Ball (Eyes Wide Shut soundtrack). Sensational. I have the extended mix too, so it goes on forever.

Re: Favourite Movie Soundtrack
To be honest, I do not think there are many soundtracks better than Man of Steel. Every time I hear it it gives me goose pimples.
It's got to be in the top ten for me. It is so epic yet sentimental. Of course, any soundtrack also depends on the film. You've got to love the film and be touched by it, and I am very much by Man of Steel. It is a fucking work of art, as far as I'm concerned. There are so many moments in it that I love, and that sensational soundtrack accompanies them all.
The film is relived in my mind every time I hear this. No wonder the DCEU largely failed. It was always contending with the 'difficult second album' conundrum. It made its magnum opus and what followed was in comparison destined to fail.

Well, it only took me 12 years, but I agree this is a very nice soundtrack. I found all the songs to be very relaxing. I've seen the film and liked it, too, but the soundtrack didn't stand out at the time.

Garden State is probably the best for live action though I always return to animated ones like Frozen II and Encanto.
