I mean MJ has just an excellent discography, all great songs, but my fave, since other is an option; They Don't Care About Us.

Probably his most underrated song.

I can’t even vote because MJ has too many iconic, impeccable, absolutely perfect gem bangers.

from the list:

Man in the Mirror
Black or White
Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough
Wanna Be Starting Something

are the standouts in my heart, but also basically every one listed—a classic.

off list:
Will You Be There (c’mon! the Free Willy theme, simply classic, brilliant)
They Don’t Really Care About Us (agree on this being criminally underrated)
The Way You Make Me Feel
Scream

Low key faves also include:
Stranger in Moscow
Keep the Faith

I could keep going…

The Sopranos is incredible but Six Feet Under's subject matter speaks to me a little more, I plan to watch it 4-5 times in my life.

I'm counting House of the Dragon for Thrones so that gets the win. Though The Wire would probably be the best if not for the show deliberately targeting my sensibilities.

Succession is their best.

If it was limited to first season, then True Detective. But it's not, so the boar on the floor wins.

Since I'm the only American democrat who voted, I'd say that I am a super delegae and thereforoe my vote counts for 2. Game of Thrones wins. Next please. How about best rising popstar of 2024 between Sabrina and Chappell? Or would that be better off as its own thread in the music forum?

I think David would vote for Six Feet Under.

I'm mostly out of ideas for the moment anyway.

I'll vote no, but a soft one. I don't like the ones that are just a box or line or splatters on the wall, but it depends if you include ones that look better as still contemporary, like David Choe is an example of a great artist. Maybe it's just the art world valuing the basic ones too much.

Some of it. Depends on the piece. I'm definitely not against contemporary art as a rule. I think that's pretty narrow-minded. It is so broad. It's like saying "do you like movies?", well not ALL of them!

What? Are you basing your experiences of art from funeral homes?

I’m not a huge contemporary art fan, but I’ve been contemporary art where the whole building is and you walk through it, like the one in Philly, it’s down right magical. In many ways you can get the strongest emotion from it in person. Looking at it on google wont give you much though

Vote Nickelback

I always had a soft spot since I liked the videos for songs like How You Remind me and Someday when I was 12. Maroon 5's first album had good singles though half decent at best since then. The other three are meh at best.

This is basically "Moves Like Jagger" vs "How You Remind Me" vs "Battle Cry"

I go for the latter, though I enjoy all three.

Really hard to pick since they all objectively suck.

I'd rank em:

1. Maroon 5 - arguably the worst overall discography, but they do at least have one good album before completely falling off unlike the rest. And I'm an album guy above all else.

2. Creed - first album is decent, like a 6.5, and they have some decent songs on the later ones to try and balance out the really bad ones ... but not enough.

3. Nickelback - two really good songs (HYRM, Someday and I'll even give them half a point for Hero) but goodness they had such a negative influence on the rock industry as a whole.

4. Imagine Dragons - zero good songs and if I could have just spent my life ignoring them it would be fine. But it seems like they release their new songs directly to advertisements and make ignoring them impossible. I'll give them one good point outside of the studio - they introduced the world to Halsey.

5. Pitbull - catchy tunes that get old very quick. I do have some nostalgic love for CULO!

6. Drake - I heard he likes em young. Better hope he never goes to cell block one.

7. Britney Spears - is Mau still paying attention to this forum? He's let my previous few Britney disses slide but I think thats mostly because he isn't involved anymore.

I don’t know who the female version of Maroon 5/Pitbull is. Pink knew how to keep the safe radio songs going like M5 though her best ones are really good. I guess Katy Perry is disliked but people are nostalgic about her prime days.
