Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Dominion doing so well despite a poorly received predecessor and poor reviews itself seems to seal the deal we are going to get these until the end of time.
This would really depend on what the premise of a seventh film would be, though I'm sure whatever the premise is they'll find a way to make it disappointing. I would like a movie where Ellie, Ian and Alan reunited with Lex and Tim

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
I want a spinoff of Kayla Watts character (played by DeWanda Wise) I want her story told more. She was great.

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
The only way forward for this franchise is setting it hundreds of years in the future in a post apocalyptic world where dinosaurs roam free on the Earth alongside humans.

I think it'd be ok for them to make this the Die Another Day of the franchise and do the most ridiculous set pieces they can think of

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Free to roam on Earth, yes. But not in the future. This franchise needs an overhaul, and I think going back to pre-civilization times would be good for it. It needs to be a real pulse-pounding survival film a la Apocalypto, but with dinosaurs against humans. Without the modern gadgetry, it should infuse the franchise with fear and suspense again, just like the Predator franchise is doing with Prey.

Jurassic World: Dinosaurs vs Transformers. Directed by Bay. Shia and Fox return along with Pratt and Howard.

But what about letting Dominion be the Die Another Day, then coming back with a grittier, more grounded Casino Royale type reboot in 5-6 years? I would much prefer a stripped down, more primitive, action horror reimagining.

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Well Jurassic Park is a go for July 2, 2025 with Bullet Train director David Leitch.
All 3 of the last JP movies made $1B+ worldwide and Dominion despite a rapid run still held on to 90% of the box office of it's predecessor.
Seems like this will be a huge jolt for the 2025 box office which was already looking strong. Don't bet against JP. The last one will probably adjust to $410M by next year or so. This franchise just prints money at this point.
It's also a brand new cast expected so seems like a highly sought after movie considering the franchise success record.

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Too soon.
The 2015 one was released 14 years after JPIII so there certainly was a nostalgia factor. This one will come out only 3 years after the last one which wasnt all that well received. It will make money but not as much as they could if they wait longer.

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Scarlett is in negotiatons to star in this. From one MCU star to the next! She has more bankability than Pratt had when he stared in JP4 so I think this bodes well. She'll also make $$$ from this I'm sure. Hard to see this not still pass $300M. Crazy that it's only 16 months from release so hopefully the quality is there and it's not rushed. Even if it disappoints domestically most of the global market will be in better shape by then and JP Dominion still pulled $1B in summer 2022. https://deadline.com/2024/03/scarlett-j ... 235867404/

Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
I was really excited for this for a few days, but then realized that I once again got Gareth Evans and Gareth Edwards confused with each other. The Raid with velociraptors >>>>> whatever Jurassic Park 7 wil actually be.
