Nominations will likely be predictable but here are some that I think could happen:

-Barbie misses a big nom like Director
-May December gets some noms despite missing from some big precursors
-Fantasia or Greta Lee get in for Actress

The Color Purple get snubbed in all the acting categories...because hollywood

I think Saltburn will be the random surprise this year as it lets the academy boot Barbie out of director without being accused of sexism. They love themselves an Eat the Rich movie ... except the The Menu for some reason :-/.

Saltburn getting in Picture or Director would be a shocker. Wish it'd get in for Cinematography.

Boy and the Heron getting something besides Animation…in my dreams…
