Wow. That was quite the emotional tribal council. Steph had every right to breakdown like that, since what was likely about to happen was complete bullshit. I don't care if that's the way the game is played, in this case the injustice was just too great that something had to be done. It took her being on the brink of getting voted off to begin to play the game. Though much of that outburst was no doubt honest, I'm sure there was an intention to give Janu that one last push to make her quit. Good stuff. The previews make it look like Steph is going to try to shake things up next week, but I get the feeling it's going to backfire on her. I really would have liked to see her join with Tom and Ian, but they kind of ruined that this week by abandoning her.

Remember the good ole days, when contestants falling into fire was the only way they would leave the game without getting voted out. Yeah, I miss those. While I'm glad Janu is gone and Stephenie remains I question why Janu was even there in the first place. She looked good climbing the tree in the one of the first episodes but since then she's just been a mess. She must really not like cold water, or hate those other Kororans because she exited that challenge fast. Oh well, so long Janu.

Stephanie has more tricks in her hat then a Chinese magitian! Holly crap! She's been at twelve trible councils in a row and she's still in the game! If she actually ends up winning this, then they should stop with the show and just proclaim her the Ultimate Survivor...period!

Go Steph, go away.
She's very annoying and looks like an eagle to boot. Crocodile tears.
They should have gotten rid of her before Colby. What idiots. :???:
I think next week's preview is misleading. She's going home.

After ten seasons, Survivor has been starting to get a bit tired. I think Stephanie has added a bit of a boost because it gives us someone to root for. Rupert, from Pearl Islands, was really the last contestant that got that much attention from fans.

While I've had a change of heart, just because the show paints Steph as a likable person now, I thought we were done with this quitting bullshit with Osten and Sue Hawke. Quitting because you think your mom isn't going to be there when you get back is one thing (Jenna M. in Survivor: All-Stars), but how does someone like Janu, who hasn't seemed to have ANY heart in the game, make it past her auditions to get on the show? Am I missing something? Are less people auditioning for Survivor? That was disgraceful. No night on her own could redeem her. Go join Coby in the loser's circle.

You shouldn't be allowed to quit unless you have an ill family member/emergency. Otherwise, you have to stay in the game and fulfill your agreement. Why join Survivor if you're going to quit because it's "too hard"? Geeze. Annoying that everyone just quits now.
PEACE, Mike

Janu is creepy and...strange. I'm sort of glad she's gone, because...the hell?
I'm conflicted, I want Tom and Ian to end up as allies with Steph :???:

Tom, Ian and Steph could get one more person and be in the final four, but I guess that won't happen. It never ends up good.

I'm worried about tonight.
I *really* don't want Steph to go anywhere, I fear the show will be boring again if she's gone.
On the other hand, I can't think of anyone else I really want gone. Maybe Caryn? She's a tad bland.
Or "Anonymous" Jenn...?

I'd be fine with having Caryn, Katie or Gregg leave tonight. Although Katie has gotten less annoying in the past few weeks, she can still be pretty unpleasant. Especially when coupled with Caryn.
Unfortunately I think for Stephenie it just may be a matter of time, unless she goes on a Kelly W. string of immunity wins.

I'd be fine with any of those going home.
If the girls were smart they'd band together and try to oust Tom or Ian, but that will never happen. For some reason girls never play nice on this show, whereas the men seem to do a better job of banding together. Heck, look at the last show when Chris was the lone survivor in a tribe of women, and won the whole thing despite their pact to make sure a girl won. ](*,)

I'm hoping the girls band together to get rid of a few of the guys. Jenn would probably never vote for Gregg, but she would vote for the other two. Caryn's my favorite right now, but I don't think she'll win the whole thing.

I don't see the girl alliance working. Gregg and his girlfriend (Ashlee ?) would ruin it, because they don't want to vote eachother out. I'm predicting Stephanie to be voted out.

Anyone I cannot name immediately has to go. They're the most dangerous. That blond one on the show. I saw her last week, and wondered why they let a stranger on the show midway through the season. The "Under the Rader" chicks are deadly. They will win.

That would be Anonymous Jen (as dubbed by Miss Alli). Reading her recaps from earlier in the season, it sounds as though Anonymous Jen didn't utter a single word in any episode until about the fifth one.

Can someone PLEASE tell Jeff to stop revealing the last bloody vote before he even shows it? He ruins all suspense. "And the 4th person voted out in survivor is..." and then he finally turns the ballot around as if we should all be "shocked" now that it is revealed whoever is gone, yet he just gave it away by say "the next person voted out of Survivor is...", and we know the person with the most votes is gone, obviously.
I want to strangle him every week he does that.
PEACE, Mike

At least she got this far.
I'm rooting for Tom and Ian now.
Caryn needs to shut up, she's making me mad.

Thank God I'm not the only one who gets peeved by that. That style only really works when there is a deadlock on votes and the last one is the deciding vote.

Now I know why we haven't seen much of Caryn in previous episodes, damn is she annoying. Thanks for hiding her from us editors. Stephenie was really fun to watch this edition of Survivor, and tonight's episode was no exception, while I'm upset that she got voted off, I can understand Tom, Ian et al. and their apprehension to letting her stay.
Regarding Jeff and his saying "and the nth person voted off Survivor is..." that annoys me too, he addressed it in his commentary for Survivor: Australia, I think it's on the first one he and Colby do, this is filmed after Vanuatu I think, and he mentions that he wants to stop doing that so the suspense is there, evidently he has forgotten.
