And then I saw that it was from myself the last time this happened. Re: Adele Returns The song is fairly average and would make zero impact if anyone but Adele was singing it, but her voice is so good that it brings the song to a higher level. Would have liked it to be a bit better, but the song's still a win for me.

Re: Adele Returns It's probably her worst lead single but her standard is really high (Hometown Glory, Rolling in the Deep, Hello) so it's still a good song.
It feels exciting to have a true modern star back releasing music instead of these Spotify playlist filler acts they keep trying to shove down people's throats.

Re: Adele Returns Adele album is ok, songs are not catchy for the most part. May improve on second listen. Easy On Me is actually very radio friendly compared to many of the songs

Re: Adele Returns Better than 25, but still just ok. At least she has a reason to be sad this time. Her fans should be pleased, but it's mostly just the same ole Adele. Would have liked some more songs like Can I Get It, which leans heavy into R&B rather than her usual Bubleish Showtunes.

Re: Adele Returns I was really looking forward to the album. I've been listening to her others to tide me over until it was released. But on first listen I don't like it. Easy On Me is amazing compared to the others. I'd say maybe I'd like it more on repeat viewings but don't have the urge to listen to it again. Very disappointing.

Re: Adele Returns First few tracks are fine, the middle tracks is a little meh, but the album ends strong with the last three songs which are probably some of her best work to date.
