Now I am convinced. You really do give mostly good grades. Makes me wonder then, what made you dislike The Day after Tomorrow that much to make it the distinct last.

Also, which one's ahead M$B or Spidey 2?

I'm just not bipolar like most people are the internet are, so my grades don't reflect that type of personality. :razz: I also didn't see many movies that were out just for the sake of seeing a movie. You'd be surprised how seeing movies that you have an interest in, instead of just seeing movies for something to do, will significantly lessen the amount of shitty grades you are forced to give. The Day After Tomorrow required far too much suspension of disbelief to really like it. A deep freeze that is cold enough to freeze the entire upper half of the planet couldn't get under a door in the library, because a little fireplace was all that was needed to keep it warm??? Puleeeze! That's just bad writing...

I really couldn't pick between M$B and Spider-Man 2. They each have their strengths. I would say that Spider-Man 2 is better at pure entertainment value, but Million Dollar Baby is the better film.

Jeeze, Mav. You must have really hated Constantine if the worst grade you gave last year was a C.

Hated is a strong word. I didn't like it very much. It still escaped a D- or F grade. :ivn:

Heh, well in my book, a D is pretty much as close to hate as it gets.

I didn't like The Village very much, but it was well-made, and got a C. Meh.

I'm sure there are plenty of films that I would be giving a D grade to from last year, but I try to avoid watching those at all costs. I've already got one D and one C one my 2005 list, and that's after only a handfull of movies. I'm seeing much more this year, so I expect that you'll see more crappy grades. I skipped The Village, and if I ever do see it, I wouldn't expect that I would give it a very strong grade, so that kinda takes the appeal away from seeing it.

Spider-Man 2 was brilliant on a lot of levels.
