Eerie, atmospheric and uses a great gore in telling a possession story of a family descending into madness. The movie is superbly done and while its a slow burn it setup and atmosphere elevates it more. This reminded me a lot of The Dark and the Wicked and while its pretty much on par with that movie its execution is at times confusing and this unsuccessfully tries to become a suspense movie. The acting is good across the board though none of the actors stand out here because the settings, direction and sound take precedence here. The final scene is great even though we pretty much know what's going to come.
